We are minutes from Mammoth Cave and fifteen minutes from Nolin Lake. Whether you are in the area to visit family, enjoy the local attractions, or just passing through, this is a great place to rest and unwind! In addition, the large screened in porch will allow you to soak up the City Of Brownsville's charming atmosphere, plus you can enjoy the new hot tub!
In the morning please enjoy our coffee bar, we supply coffee and tea.
We named this adorable house Exile on Main Street after The Rolling Stones album from 1972. It is on Main St after all . The spaces in this home are music themed. Some rooms are decorated around a specific song while other spaces follow the music ambiance. This cute cottage will delight the music lovers from yesteryear.

The house is very cute and is very convenient for getting to Mammoth Cave. We loved the hot tub and the owner was available to answer any questions and helped us with entering the house. We had a great time.

We had an amazing time at exile and PJ's was an amazing addition that we did not expect. The hot tub made it worth every penny. I voiced that each time I sunk down in the bubbles. We are planning another trip already and bringing kiddos. Also a guided tour of the cave next time. The home was clean and cozy and better stocked than any other short term rental we have stayed in. We highly recommend if your planning a trip to the cavess or just visiting nearby I'd say it would be worth a slight detour and you must have breakfast right down the street at PJ's!

Great location to Mammoth caves

My family of 6 fit perfectly in house. Close proximity to Mammoth caves. Family loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring the caves.

Very Clean, Great Location..

This was a very clean rental. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. Exactly as described, great downtown Brownsville location. Try PJ's Café down the street, you will not be disappointed.

The house was perfect. The location was great probably 20 minutes from Mammoth Cave, and other nearby towns. The screened in porch was great to relax, and hot tub would be nice if it wasn’t during a heatwave. The decor on the inside was all music themed. This is a place we will definitely use again in the area.

Overall, it was a good to ok stay. The main street is a highway just so you’re aware. I was not. I thought it would be a quaint quiet small town Main Street. Other reviews stated it was quiet. That was not my experience. There was heavy equipment going by all the time and the bedroom is feet from the highway so that was a little disturbing at night while trying to sleep. There was a noticeable musty odor in the house that I am sensitive to that I was not expecting. Other than that, it had everything we needed. This was not a bad place, just not my cup of tea. Also the camera above the hot tub felt a bit “ick” felt like I couldn’t really relax.

Thanks for your comments. I’m sorry you experienced the noise. Typically, our little town is pretty quiet when the sun goes down. The camera on the back porch as well as the one on the front porch are both turned off immediately after you arrive.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice, safe and quite place to rest to keep our trip to Ohio. Love that it is oet friendly. Will use it agsin if available.

It's not obvious from the photo, but you are right on the street so it was a little loud with the cars. We got in at night so basically just slept and showered there, so it was adequate.

Weekend stay

Perfect for a week or weekend stay. We enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in porch but recommended adding curtains or shades for more privacy. Well stocked with blacks and towels. Kitchen was well stocked for at home meals and coffee bar was nice, recommend mini flavored creamers. Over great experience, would stay again and will recommend to family looking to visit Mammoth cave area.
