Our stay at Villa Lago was perfectly adequate. The hosts were responsive. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The listing is a little deceiving in terms of how many and what beds are in what bedrooms and many of the pictures are not current. The layout is unique but fine for a few nights. I wouldn't recommend trying to squeeze 12 people here, it would be very tight. The water and dock and patio are lovely, it's just right next to the main road. The property is definitely well used with wear and tear apparent in some areas and it's lacking some things that come with a place where people who own it use it (as opposed to a rental company property) but again, it's perfectly adequate for a getaway on the lake. Overall I would recommend, just set expectations appropriately.

Great after Christmas getaway

We LOVED the hot tub and the game room (outdoor entrance). Perfect spot for our family of five!

Amazing!!

We loved our stay here. The owners are nearby if you need anything at all they are super easy to reach. They even rent boats and jet skis if wanted. The house was great, clean, and just as listed. Will be booking again next year!

Nice stay!

The house was really cute and we loved the location. Sleeping arrangements weren’t exactly for a comfortable 12 but would be ideal for 6-10. it was a really nice stay and we enjoyed our time!

Awesome place, plenty of room. Had 11-12 people and it was not crowded at all. Right on the water. Night stars and sky are absolutely insane. Sunrises are even better. Love winni, loved the house. Thanks for having us!!!

Great spot. Dock / lake boat access. Easy to walk into town for restaurants ice cream small store.

Good Location

Stayed July 4th weekend. Nice property right on the water. Small beach. Dock for a boat. Walking distance to restraunts, but every place is closed by 10 pm. Enjoyed the amenities. The building is small & clean. Overall a good stay, but overpriced.

Great Time at Lake Winni

This was our first time staying on Lake Winni and we really enjoyed it. We had up to 8 people total staying with us and our 2 golden retrievers and it was perfect. It was wonderful to be right on the water with a dock. We also rated paddle boards for the week from the same company, which was great. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our time there. The house and rooms/bathrooms were smaller than we expected, but we made the best of it. The pool table and game room was a fun addition. We enjoyed the hot tub, patio and deck area, beautiful view!

Family Vacation

The stay was great, the location on the lake is beautiful. The property managers are very responsive. Great place for a vacation with groups of all ages. We were able to rent a boat and many other things from them which is very convenient. The house is along a busy road so can get a little loud at times but overall the area is pretty quiet. Would stay again!

Good for the price

It was good. The biggest part I would change is the check in and checkout time. Id recommended checkout was later than 10 am and check in earlier than 4 and it would be 5 stars for the price. Thank you for the stay:)

The reason for our current check in and check out times are do to same day turnaround in season. This is a tight window to make sure everything is ready for you when you arrive ! Pleasant, easy stay and great communication

My family and I stayed at this property over the past two nights and it was extremely pleasant and lovely. The property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, even for our 3 kids under 9, and in close proximity to great food and sights, even if the weather was chilly. The managements communication was truly top notch, thanks for a great experience! We will be back

Great location on the lake.

House was in a great location on the lake, with easy lake access. We rented a boat and had an easy time getting in and out of the boat slip. House had all the amenities that we needed. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. Only big drawback for this house is it being so close to a very busy road, but we really enjoyed our stay!
