Stay to short

This was the cutest place. I loved the decor antiques and art work were beautiful. Ron and Carol did an amazing job with this place. We will be back.

This listing was incredible. The listing had more than enough space and was very clean. Absolutely beautiful and enjoyed my stay very much. The host did a great job at leaving us alone while still making sure we had everything we needed. I look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay, Ron and Carol were so nice and helpful. The place was large with tons of beautiful art work that Carol has made. We were able to buy some hand painted wine glasses from her. The place was clean and comfortable.

Cozy Stay

Absolutely loved this VRBO home. The owners are super nice and helpful. Ron is hysterical. The home was clean, fully equipped with all needs and wants, the bed was very comfortable (we slept on the king bed, not the queen one), and the WiFi worked great. The only thing to be aware of, and they state this in the welcome binder, you can’t flush TP. A minor inconvenience really but some may not like that idea. They have the bathroom fully stocked with all you need to properly disposed of TP, sanitization wipes, “flushable wipes” but obviously can’t flush those, a sink and soap-so really a minor thing and they make it as easy as possible to follow their request. Hope to come back again someday soon! Thank you Ron and Carol!

Strange & Unfortunate

The owners have done a great job on fixing up a corrugated metal shop, but they are not up-front about some of the realities like a septic system that doesn't allow flushing toilet paper and that it is in the middle of a car junk-yard/graveyard and it is right next to their shop and house. There is no hiking out the back yard either. There was cat poop behind the couch as well. We moved to a hotel our second night rather than stay. The owners were not interested in why.

Wow. First the septic system is new because previous guest clogged up the system so badly that it required a new one. Not flushing anything in the toilet is not unusual for a septic system. Special waste containers are in the bathroom. It is stated in the listing that the house and shop are on the same property. Hiking is right outside the guesthouse, if they had bothered to communicate and ask where to start up the mountain, which is right behind the guesthouse. The cat poop was missed and I'm not sure how, but there had been 3 cats in the place before them. I don't contact the guests after they arrive so they have privacy, but phone numbers are in the guesthouse if they need to contact me. Plus they left in the morning of the first day and I wasn't notified they weren't coming back until 11:00PM that night. No way to contact them to "find out why".

Nice place

The cabin was very clean and had all of the extras(great bath products, condiments,etc). We have stayed at several vrbo’s and this was one of our favorites. You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort in making the cabin a great place and wonderful stay for their renters. The family dog was a unexpected pleasure. “Goof” was so much fun and she loved to play fetch.

Best place ever

Was perfect...had everything we needed for us and two service dogs...clean cost three tvs...super comfortable beds...Fantastic host who went above and beyond...we will go back again for sure

Quiet getaway

Quiet peaceful area to just getaway from it all for a bit. Had fun playing fetch with a very friendly dog. Spent sometime chatting with the owner who is very down to earth and super friendly. He showed us around the property and got to see some awesome classic cars and hear some interesting stories. Wish we had a few more days and we will definitely be back.

Cozy and warm

Spacious, artistic and cozy. A home away from home nestled in the mountains. Will likely visit again to enjoy the property and area in the summer months.
