According to VRBO reservation records, your booking was for ten (10) days. However, you stayed at the property for five (5) days only and left the accommodation without notifying the host or VRBO. During the days you stayed at the property, no concerns or complaints were communicated through VRBO regarding cleanliness, insects, or bedding conditions. Upon inspection, no evidence of bed bugs was found. The only insects observed were ants, likely attracted by food and food remnants you left on the bed. The report alleging bed bugs was submitted only after your unannounced departure, without any prior notification or request for assistance during the stay. After your departure, the property was inspected and no evidence of bed bugs was found. All payments related to this reservation were processed exclusively through VRBO. No funds were taken outside the platform at any time. For transparency and fairness, we are cooperating directly with VRBO so they can independently review the reservation details, communication history, and timeline of events.
