The pool is reserved exclusively for guests of the main house. As soon as the issue was reported, our team contacted the guests staying in the Carriage House and instructed them to vacate the pool. A last-minute reservation was also made for the Carriage House during your stay, which is why additional guests arrived after you had been advised that it was vacant at that time. We understand how frustrating this must have been upon arrival and regret that the situation affected the start of your getaway. Our team was glad to assist with additional linens and other requests throughout your stay, and we hope those efforts helped make the remainder of your visit more comfortable. Regarding kitchen supplies, we keep only non-perishables in the house. Seasonings, oils, and other food items aren’t left behind for sanitary reasons and to avoid attracting any unwanted beachside “guests.” As for the starter supplies, the home is stocked to standard with basics to get you through arrival until you can shop for your preferred supplies. It truly sounds like this property just wasn’t the best match for your group’s preferences, and that’s okay—sometimes even a great home isn’t the right home. We’d be glad to welcome you back for another stay in a place that fits your style a bit better next time you’re in Rosemary.
