This charming ground floor 2 bedroom/1 bath end unit is set in the lush tropical gardens within the prestigious Sugar Hill Resort on the west coast of Barbados. The layout encompasses a newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen with Quartz countertops and an open plan living and dining area which leads unto the large veranda for your outdoor dining pleasure as well as additional lounge space. The veranda flows on to the beautifully landscaped grounds. The master bedroom which also leads unto the veranda is outfitted with A/C, ceiling fan, wall mounted TV and has ample closet space. This master bedroom shares the newly renovated and modern bath room with the second guest bed room also outfitted with A/C and ceiling fan and has views of the garden.

Sugar Hill is a quiet resort community on the highly sought after Platinum Coast of the island with onsite amenities including large communal pool, a restaurant and bar, modern gym, floodlit tennis courts, a clubhouse as well as beach passes. This property offers easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches, fine dining establishments and luxury shopping areas on the island

Lovely Apartment in Beautiful Sugar Hill

We've stayed at Sugar Hill before and never tire of it. The staff are all so friendly and attentive, the pools are immaculate and never busy; the gym a great asset. The location is ideal for Holetown and the stunning west coast beaches, but also a great base to reach out across the island.The apartment is ground floor at the end of the block and has a lovely view from the kitchen plus easy access across the lawn to one of the swimming pools.Cheryl looked after us from the moment we arrived, checking we had all we needed. A minor internet issue was sorted quickly. The apartment has everything needed. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay at sugar hill

Wonderful stay at sugar hill , I can only say that the photos on vrbo just do not do the property itself or its surroundings justice , the accommodation was so lovely and the facilities at sugar hill such as the pools and the restaurant and bars were just wonderful with friendly staff , I went with my husband and three year old son and it was perfect to have the two pools on site as well as being a short drive from many amazing beaches , a holiday of a life time we will not forget , Barbados is beautiful , Cheryl was a great host , who cared about the enjoyment of our stay and had plenty of info in the property about places to visit and eat , really seamless experience from start to finish , the bonus was access to the Fairmont hotel beach which has a lovely beach which we could take advantage of ! Thank you Cheryl we would love to come back again !

Great location

Chris and Cheryl’s apartment was perfect for our 1 week stay. It is clean, has plenty of room and is in a great location. The ability to use the Fairmont facilities was a real plus. Communication with our hosts was pleasant and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation.

Wonderful facilities in a superb location.

Wonderful facilities in a superb location, we loved the stunning main pool, tennis courts and gym too. A short car ride to the beach and town. Very comfortable and super clean apartment. We moved in the evening after Hurricane Beryl had passed through which was a difficult time, I had good clear comms with the property manager and the owner dropped the keys so that we could get in. We had a lovely time with friends who were also on the resort. The main pool steals the show!

Nice updated property with everything you need. Complex is very good and staff excellent. Hairline beach pass was a bonus.

Beautiful stay, great location

We had a lovely stay at Christopher’s place! The villa itself was clean and comfortable. The location was nice with a short walk to the pool and relatively close drive to several sights. We did take advantage of the Fairmont beach club which was easy to access and a very nice beach. Christopher was quick to respond to questions that we had. Overall, we really enjoyed and would stay again!

Lovely holiday apartment

Wonderful apartment

We stayed from 28th December until Jan 9th 2024 and had a wonderful holiday. Sugar hill is a great resort and the apartment was perfect. So enjoyed the tennis and the Fairmount Beach Club. Very quiet and beautifully decorated. The restaurant on site called the Deck also very good.

60th birthday family holiday!

Had a fabulous time celebrating a special birthday in a beautiful location. Sugar Hill was more than we expected, beautiful apartment with fabulous restaurant and pools. Located a little bit further from the beach than we thought but the walk kept us fit and it was easy to get taxis there and back if needed. We we’re spoiled for choice by so many fabulous restaurants located close by! All in all a fantastic place to stay!!

Great stay

Lovely place. We have stayed in a villa there before. There was an internet issue on Christmas Eve. The property manager dropped round a mifi to resolve which was exceptional. Thank you

A lovely, charming place to stay

We spent a good amount of our time on the perfect patio. Coffee and breakfast in the morning. Reading and relaxing after a swim in the pool that was just 100 meters from our back door, in the afternoon , and a cool drink in the evening by candlelight. The villa itself was clean and very nicely decorated. The owner was attentive and thoughtful when questions were asked. The walk down to the beach was a little more than expected, but we did manage to find a very nice driver who would drive us up the hill with groceries or take us out and back in the evenings during our week. We considered renting a car, but we decided that it would be nice to be able to have a few drinks with supper and not worry about driving. The Deck staff were very friendly and the food and drinks very good. Would definitely recommend this rental to a couple or even a young family. There was the second bedroom that we didn’t use and it was a good size. Christopher very kindly left us a welcome cold bottle of wine and soft drinks to start our holiday. Thank you for a very good time!

Newly modernised property

The ground floor apartment is newly modernised with all amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The patio looks out onto the well kept gardens of Sugar Hill. The swimming pool is a 100 metre walk across the grass. The Deck bar and restaurant is a 5 minute walk . The property allows access to the Beach Club at the Fairmont Pavilion where the beach and sunbeds and shade are great. You can snorkel off this beach here but the reef 200 metres north in front of the Lone Star is better. Cannot fault the property.

Lovely, airy ground floor apartment with great verandah

We enjoyed staying in this property very much. We loved sitting out on the verandah for breakfast and relaxing with pre- or post-dinner drinks. Christopher and Sheryl were great hosts and responded v quickly to minor problems. The apartment was roomy and well-equipped. The resort has lovely well-looked after gardens, pools and restaurant (although this was only open on a few days each week). A walk downhill to the nearest beach and restaurants - Lonestar and Juma. Need a taxi back up the hill. Bus stop at Lonestar/Juma to take you to Speightstown and across road for Holetown and Bridgetown.

Perfect vacation spot

I have stayed at Sugar Bay before, but this newly renovated unit (kitchen and bathroom) is very modern and fresh. The unit is well organized and gives a very relaxing feel. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hosts were very gracious with our questions before and during our stay. We found that the welcome package over the holiday stay was a lovely touch and having an end unit allowed for additional privacy… Will definitely book again….
