A 3 story walk up great for couples as the bathroom is not enclosed. Well equipped, central location, good price, responsive host, clean and quiet. Would stay again.

Very cute apartment. Air conditioning was a must in July! Host responsive when needed. Shopping and groceries close by convenient. Parking cardeurs is closest parking 25 euros/day convenient.

This apartment is right in the heart of Aix-en-Provence’s vibrant and bustling old town, surrounded by wonderful restaurants, cafés, and shops. I personally found it comforting to fall asleep to the sounds of the lively streets below with the laughter and voices of hundreds of revelers eating, drinking, singing, and enjoying the evening. Hearing that sense of joy throughout the night made me happy.The apartment is beautifully appointed, with Carol’s wonderful sense of style evident throughout. Her communication was immediate and helpful whenever we had a question. During our stay, we had a couple of questions or challenges about check-in, the shower, and the washing machine, and Carol responded promptly each time.The 50 stairs up to the third-floor apartment were also a great way to get my daily cardio in!For a solo traveler, this is a wonderful place to stay. It’s comfortable, stylish, perfectly located, and right in the middle of all the energy and charm that makes Aix-en-Provence so special.

Perfect nest above Place des Cardeurs; overlooking the busy square, ideal for exploring the old city. If you love Aix, history, dining, walking, exploring - this is a great spot. The hosts are communicative, friendly and helped me a lot. One note - it is an intact old city building, fully updated for modern conveniences, but there is no elevator and might not be a match for people who struggle with stairs.

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Aix and steps from the city hall, cathedral and main squares. The apartment is clean and well maintained. Unusual features include the toilet/shower in a separate area inside the bedroom and access for the clothes washer requires a step up into a separate alcove. Airconditionig is a great bonus and the double glazed windows are excellent at keeping out crowd noise. This is not a place for those with poor mobility: it’s on the top floor and requires climbing 4 sets of stairs. There is no lift. Carol is a wonderful host! She is friendly, welcoming and attentive and easily available when issues arise. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment and look forward to a future stay there.

Our host was amazing and always very helpful. The location is excellent, a bit noisy but the place is so charming and well located that it wasn’t such a big deal. I can’t imagine being there in summer, the apartment can get hot (being on the top floor) and there’s no fan or air conditioning. The flat is located three stories up, so be prepared. The bathroom, this was the most surprising thing, is just there in the bedroom. No door, no privacy 😥, and rather uncomfortable. The pictures don’t quite show it so well. Just be mindful of this. If you’re traveling alone, no problem, but with more people it definitely becomes inconvenient.

Tout très bien, SAUF les toilettes DANS la chambre, sans paravent ni quoi que ce soit d'autre, donc niveau intimité pas fabuleux.....et la chambre donnant sur le salon ne fermant pas.Non précisé dans l'annonce, on n'a pas vraiment apprécié !

The property is absolutely gorgeous! Finding air conditioning was also amazing during this heat wave. Carol was also very communicative and there are lots of great shops, bakeries, & cafes very close! The historic church just up the street is also a treat you won’t want to miss in this city of fountains! We also went on a terrific lavender outing one afternoon that was well worth the afternoon!

Appartement très propre et cosy, avec une décoration digne de Pinterest, situé en plein centre-ville et offrant une belle vue sur la place des Cardeurs. Grâce au double vitrage, aucun bruit extérieur ne se fait entendre. L’appartement est très bien équipé avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. L’hôte est extrêmement sympathique, réactive et adorable, toujours à l’écoute et arrangeante pour que vous soyez parfaitement à l’aise. Mon Airbnb préféré à Aix, je recommande vivement !
