Really enjoyed my stay here, the property was so cute & had so much charm. The pool was relaxing and the bench swing was so nice to sit in in the evenings. All in all, had a great stay!!

Yall this was a great booking! The house is so cool with the history, you can feel like you’re staying in a true Galveston legend. The location is perfect and the pool is a huge plus. The house was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Thankful to the host who kept great communication throughout our stay. I would def stay here again on my next visit to Galveston Island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house and pool were just what made this trip special. We had 4 couples and everyone had space to relax in and enjoy. Eric, the host was very responsive when we had questions.

Historic house with modern amenities. The pool was excellent especially with small ones. Short walk to beach and pleasure pier. Great memories were made! Would definitely recommend to families and I would go again!

The house is beautfiful and very clean. The neighbors were friendly. The host stayed intouch to ensure our needs were met. Location is amazing it was easy access to beach or strand. I will defintely stay at this location.

Thanksgiving In Galveston

We had a great week relaxing in Galveston. The property was conveniently located and very roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Great House

We enjoyed the stay the location was perfect. The old home has a lot of charm. The pool was great for the kids. Great neighborhood, friendly people.

Galveston Wedding

The house was very nice and on a great street. Close to the beach and The Strand. The host was excellent. We would stay there again.

Beautiful historic home. Close to all the fun stuff: downtown, ports, seawall, UTMB. The rail trolley runs right in front of the house. Trolley stop is a short walk down the street. Very comfortable beds, and a large kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Built in 1899, so expect aged and antique venue. The private pool was a blessing! Great experience near the beach, The Strand, the sea wall, and a ferry ride to Bolivar peninsula. We had a lovely family (3 generation) vacation.

Beautiful historic home!

We chose this property because of it proximity to the historic downtown area. Everything was comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and our older kids appreciated that their rooms all had tvs. Plenty of space to eat, entertain, and relax.

Great Experience

We wanted to stay in a historical home with modern upgrades. This house was perfect. Great location, and very well equipped. The outdoor space was wonderful!

Beautiful home, historic, loved the neighborhood, super architecture, clean and welcoming. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Trolley travels right in front of house, beach is a short walk away. Neat home

We stayed for a few nights after a cruise. Was nice to be able to have a little yard, pool, and the ability to cook a few meals for ourselves. The home is in a neat area, the main road out front gets a little busy with night time noise. Easy to access and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

Mardi gras girls weekend

House was perfect for mardi gras weekend! Walk to strand wasn't bad, less than a mile. Owner was easy to reach by text for questions or concerns and responded quickly. We loved the house! Beds were comfortable. Loved that this was a historic home.

Sister in Law Get Away

The 4 of us enjoyed the historic home and the updates, the pool was just right for all of us. The host was very quick to the few questions we had. We did not want to leave!

Amazing location with a great pool!

We loved our stay, the house is incredible and the location was fantastic. It was conveniently located so we could walk most places including the seawall and CVS for anything we forgot to bring or needed. We also went in the pool everyday and thoroughly the yard and many places to sit and eat al fresco. The host was also so amazing to deal with, answered quickly and provided excellent information. We loved the front porch swing and watching the trolley go by. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

WE LOVED IT!

We arrived on Friday and instantly fell in love with the house. Right down the street from Pleasure Pier and the Seawall! The house stayed cool even with high humidity, rain, and heat! It was more than enough room for all of us! The pool was also perfect size! The owner was soooo responsive and sent regular updates! The house was so clean and well kept as well! We can’t wait to stay again!!!!

Annual Family Vacay

House was beautiful. Pool was perfect. Location was great. House is warm, bring fans. Master bedroom has no ceiling fan. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting easy access to The Strand and the beach. Erik was quick to assist. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

When we arrived, we were unable to get the doors unlocked with the code. After getting into the house, I noticed that the living room furniture was filthy with stains. In addition, the shower handle in the master bath is close to falling off. Other than those things, the house was very nice. The beds were super comfortable and the location of the property was great.

Spring Break 2023 from Minnesota

The home was nice and comfortable. It met our needs for cooking and grilling. Neighborhood was quiet. Owner was prompt in responding to questions and needs. Pool was smaller than it looks in pictures. We had rain a few days. Location was central to shopping and the Pleasure Pier, which the boys totally enjoyed. If we decided to return to Galveston, we would definitely consider renting this home if available. Thank you Eric

Although the weather didn't cooperate most of the time, we did get to use the pool one afternoon and it was very enjoyable, with areas to sit and lounge in the pool. The kitchen is fully stocked with glassware, dishes and cooking utensils. A roll of paper towels as well as dish soap and washing pods are provided. A limited supply of coffee was available. Bring storage bags, foil, etc., if you need them. There are several tables in the backyard to sit and enjoy the backyard, and a nice swing on the front porch to enjoy. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms roomy. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and washcloths, even for a large group. Hand soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided.The location is nice on a busy boulevard, but we never had trouble parking in front of the home, and it was fun watching folks walking their pups in the mornings and evenings. The house was very clean, and the a/c kept us comfortable. There were numerous ceiling fans through the house which kept the ventilation nice.
