Check for broken toilet

Unfortunately Jean rented us a van that had a broken toilet and the poo would fly up while driving and van smelled the whole time, even after emptied box. He said he didn’t know it would smell as he had part on order. Also, very hot sleeping on top as AC doesn’t reach there. Jean seem great but wouldn’t agree on a refund for trouble:-( Locals do NOT like the van and beware where you try to sleep!

Hi Kimberly, we are very sorry for the inconvenience of the toilet, but the issue has been fixed. As far as the refund, we did agree to a 20% refund and I provided you with the evidence that the refund was going to take up to 10 business days per Stripe's payment processing refund rules, but you had less days to review and hadn't gotten your refund before writing this completely false review. Locals DO LIKE the van as evidenced by our other customers and their reviews across all platforms that we rent (Airbnb, Outdoorsy, our Website, etc), so it is unfair to locals and to me to generalize about any specific experience you had. It also didn't help to record our phone conversation without telling me first, threatening to sue me and to destroying our company and reputation just because you couldn't wait for your refund.

Around the Island in 5 days!

Renting this van was an overall great experience from start to finish! The owner was great getting back to us regarding any questions we had prior to arriving and during the trip. It was a quick 3 minute Uber ride from the San Juan airport to pick it up. There is also a good grocery store right in the same parking lot that you pick the van up at, so you can stock up and just head out. We had 5 days to go around the island with our first stop at Mar Chaquita which was an ideal spot just 45 minutes away. It was our first time renting a camper van and we were so pleased. The van was well equipped with screens on the doors, comfortable beds and a nice size refrigerator/freezer. We rented the van with the pop up top and it was great for ventilation at night so we never had to use the AC. Advanced planning to determine your overnight spots is a must cause you can spend a good amount of time trying to locate a good overnight camping spot each day. We found plenty of beaches to enjoy and felt safe at all of them overnight. It would have been helpful to have a list of suggested beach stops since there are so many to pick from! We highly recommend renting this van and we plan to return and do it again!

Vandelsol best way to experience Puerto Rico

The host was great with communication and the van provide a great way to experience the island! Love staying at our favorite beaches. I was at first concerned about safety stay in the van but that quickly went away. I would rent it again!

Amazing experience

If you wonder how to explore most of the beautiful island and fully enjoy your vacation, VanDelSol gives you a great opportunity to see as much as you desire. Jean is very good at what he does and he will try to help you with everything you need. Recommend it
