A good location for exploring south west Cork. Andy & Ingolf were great hosts and very informative about the area. Their amazing garden was worth the trip on its own. The “CowShed” was extremely well equipped .

Uriges Cottage in traumhaftem Park

Liebevoll renoviertes Cottage, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet und gut für 3 Personen geeignet. Das Cottage liegt sehr ruhig in einem beeindruckenden, toll angelegten Park, in dem es viel zu entdecken gibt. Vielen Dank an die sehr netten Gastgeber, die mit ihrer herzlichen Art und den hilfreichen Ausflugstipps für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt gesorgt haben.

Beautiful peaceful setting in the country side.

Beautiful small stone walled cottage. It is well equipped and it is set on a site with a 5 acre garden. It is adjacent to the owners house on this site. There is a relaxing reading space on the upper floor.

It depends on what you are looking for...

The owner was extremely nice and responsive. Charm exudes from the abode, but it is a bit smallish if you are a bigger than average person. The gardens surrounding the house are quite remarkable and worth exploring. The poor cell phone reception (no service in the house, but is fine at the top of the hill in the side yard) was unfortunate, however. The location was great for hiking in the nearby peninsulas - the Three Castle Head hike was truly special if one can tolerate a hilly trek.. Overall, we were looking for a spot away from the crowds and near some good hiking and small town sight-seeing. We were very satisfied, but would recommend one think twice if body size is either big or tall.

Great place to get away from it all and wander the gardens. Our hosts were very welcoming and in all we loved it.

Zauberhafter Garten, ein reizendes Cottage und herzliche Gastgeber

Das Cottage liegt in einem traumhaft schönen Garten, ist bestens ausgestattet, schön und großzügig eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber herzlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent, was die Erkundung der näheren und weiteren Umgebung angeht. Dank der Wander- und Einkehrtipps wurde die Woche in diesem schönen Eck Irlands nahe dem Sheep’s Head zu einem wundervollen Aufenthalt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Uns hat das gesamte Ensemble gut gefallen. Alles entsprach unserem Geschmack und unseren Bedürfnissen. Der Garten ist wunderbar. Der Ort ist eine gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen, die Vermieter geben gute Empfehlungen. Wir können es rundum empfehlen.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

Wir haben uns nicht nur sehr willkommen gefühlt sondern auch wunderbar erholt. Die Hosts dieser unverwechselbaren Gartenanlage waren angenehm unaufdringlich und gleichzeitig immer für einen da. Das Ferienhaus hatte alle Annehmlichkeiten zu bieten und die Möglichkeit, sich im gesamten Garten bewegen und staunen zu können, rundete unser Ferienerlebnis ab. Sehr empfehlenswert. Danke!

Super schön gelegene Unterkunft mit bester Ausstattung und tollen Gastgebern.

Wir hatten Glück - mit dem Haus, dem Garten, den Gastgebern und dem Wetter. Irland von seiner besten Seite. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zur Peninsula Mizen und zu Scheep's Head, für einen Besuch des Bantry House and Garden, Garnish Island, Kenmare oder einfach nur freitags auf den Markt von Bantry.
