This was a great home to stay. My family came from four different cities and the home was the perfect centralized location for us to have a weekend girls trip. The majority of the rooms being on the first floor was a plus, as we had elder members join us. We so enjoyed the water, scenery and the spaciousness of the home. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

The location was great. Very close to town. The owner was so easy to work with due to a pending storm in the Gulf. The house had lots of kitchen appliances and dishes, pots and pans. The wharf was a nice size. We would definitely rent again.

Picture perfect view and wonderful house! We truly enjoyed our stay. There was more than enough space for my family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the outside areas from the sitting area by the house to the rocking chairs on the dock. The owners were responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely rent again.

Nice home at a great location. Very large home with very nice pool table and bar in the living space. Nice furniture inside and outside. Only negatives would be the home is a bit dated and the dock could use a good pressure washing.

Girls weekend

Group of girls had Mahjong weekend over looking beautiful water false River. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Large area for games and relaxing. Loved the location.

Amazing home! The fishing was brutal but you can't have it all! Down for a bowling tournament and would definitely stay again! Master suite was beautiful. Kitchen has plenty to cook with. Tyvm Scott!

Overflow family house

The house has an interesting floor plan with no bathrooms connecting to bedrooms on the main floor Pest control needs to be addressed Saw some ants and roaches Overall the house was clean

Thank you for the feedback. The Primary bedroom connects with primary bathroom. The 3 guest rooms on first floor are shared between 2 bathrooms. This is a house on a lake and pests will always be an issue. We have a pest contract and do the best we can.

False River 7/2024

Beautiful home. The large family area with pool table was perfect for our group. We rented a boat w/tube and that was fun. This rental has a floating mat, which was nice. House was clean and A/C works great. My disappointment was outside water feature wasn’t working. This is what drew me to this rental. Fish cleaning station doesn’t work if you plan to fish. I would stay here again.

We love this house & pier for our family because it is so big. The guys in my family have so much fun playing with the pool table. This was our 3rd time using this house & we will most probably will be going back there because what we love is that everyone has a bed to sleep in.

Girlfriends visit from Houston

Six ladies from Houston visiting me here in New Roads. We enjoyed the home and sitting on the dock. I was disappointed with the outdoor furniture on the lower and upper deck of the porches of the home itself. The furniture was dirty and the cushions were smelly or non existent. We also had a couple of roach sightings (dead) in the kitchen and under the dinning room table (live). I assume this is because the home may be rarely used but housekeeping should maybe check right before someone rents the beautiful home. The linens and furnishings were awesome!!! The kitchen was a dream except for the roaches seen in the bottom cabinets. I would rent this property again.
