This was a great stay! The house is on a quiet property and not too far from town. Really enjoyed the sunset walks and stargazing. Clean, comfortable and pet friendly!

What a wonderfully peaceful spot to retreat away from the world and still have easy access to nature! Quiet and tucked away with enough neighbors close by and close access to the local grocery store. House was clean and well-equipped, including amenities for work/office needs. Met the lovely owner who was very welcoming and made my dog feel at home. Was perfect for my extended stay in Crestone! Would definitely rent here again in the future.

This house was perfect for our stay in Crestone. It was quiet, clean, and had a nicely stocked kitchen for my husband and me. Erin, the host, was responsive to communications. Will reserve again when in Crestone.

Crestone house

Everything about our stay was superb. Amenities and supplies met our needs perfectly. The house is spacious for two or three people, the outside property is attractive, and the neighborhood is quiet. Last but not least, communicating with the host was easy and prompt.

Cute cabin with a beautiful view

Wonderful cabin with an amazing view of the mountains and stars. Its remote, but still close to a Dollar General. Check in and communication with host was great.

Such a wonderful place to stay while I was in Crestone! It surpassed my expectations. The host was very communicative and helpful. The property was immaculate and very comfortable. I would definitely book with this host again! Highly recommended. 🤗

Super quiet

We had a wonderful get away! The property is insanely quiet and the dark sky community allows for incredible star gazing. Highly recommend for when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. So many deer!!!

Most Excellent! Quiet and beautiful.

Our stay was exactly what we hoped it would. The cabin was very clean, handicap accessible, with lots of space and an abundance of light. The Mountain View was amazing and the stars at night were spectacular. The best part of our stay was the quiet. Only the breeze in the trees and the birds singing. Thank you so much!

Idyllic Setting and Cabin

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 days over Christmas in this modern, well-equipped cottage just minutes from the charming village of Crestone. It has wonderful views from both sides with lots of deer to enjoy. You can tell when the owners are thoughtful and considerate by the condition of the unit and its small details. This is the nicest rental I’ve experienced by far through VRBO. I would gladly stay here again.

Fireworks Free Weekend Getaway

Our dog is terrified of fireworks, so we wanted to book someplace where there wouldn't be folks blowing up the neighborhood all weekend - this fit the bill quite nicely. The cabin was plenty spacious for my husband and I, with our dogs, the bed had a comfy memory foam mattress, kitchen small but clean and had everything we needed to make some easy dinners during our stay, table was plenty large enough to play board games - there were even supplies for the dogs! The host setting out bug spray turned out to be a blessing - the mosquitos up there are no joke! If you are looking for a quiet stay in a dark-night area to enjoy the quiet and some stargazing - this is a good spot.

lovely stay in Crestone!

We stayed at the Mountain Retreat for a week with our dog and it was one of the nicest rentals we've ever stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful (both indoors and outdoors--the view is a AMAZING!). Erin was easy to communicate with and we had a fantastic stay. The kitchen has all the basics to prepare simple meals and having laundry was huge for us. We did have some issues with the internet for several days of the stay but that was not a huge problem for us. If you are visiting in July bring some high quality bug spray as the mosquitos are FIERCE all day long (but the house has screens so you can still enjoy the fresh mountain air!).
