This beautiful Beach House just 10 miles SW of Belfair, WA on Hood Canal's North Shore is a perfect family getaway! 1700 square feet, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor BBQ, patio and fire pit, access to private community beach, dock and boat launch in Shorehill Estates. Home is perched on the hillside, private outdoor seating area, 3 lots back from the beach with incredible sweeping views and just a short walk to beach area, that includes covered picnic tables, grass area, boat launch, parking & restrooms. Bring your beach gear, boat, paddle boards, kayaks & water toys and come enjoy the beautiful Hood Canal! Fish & Crab (in season), Oysters, Clams, Seals, Bald Eagles, and even the occasional and spectacular Orca Whale spottings! Enjoy beach combing and swimming in the warmest waters of the Puget Sound. ***Shellfish harvesting must be done on public land and does require a license.

Main Floor of house has Master Bedroom with beautiful Canal views, master bath with double granite vanity, large living/dining area with picture windows all around, 46' flat screen TV with surround sound, free wireless internet, fully stocked kitchen, buddy bar, mud room with laundry and 2nd bath. Main Floor Square Footage: 930

Second Floor has rec room with queen pull out sectional couch, TV/DVD/VCR, movies, and games. First upstairs bedroom has a Queen and the second bedroom has a Queen, the third has Twin Bunk Beds & a NEW half bath. Second Floor Square Footage: 720

Golf Weekend at the Canal

Callie is a great host and her property is very nice, not far from Belfair and was a near perfect central location for our Hood Canal area golf outings. Great view of the canal, spacious home and a very enjoyable time. We all agreed to book again next year assuming we can find availability. Thank you!

Great place

The house is great. Our son is in the Coast Guard nearby. We had his family and grandkids. They called it the beach house. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Awesome view. The kitchen has all you need for the chef in the family. Really enjoyed the place. The communication with the owner was great. I would definitely recommend the house and would return.

Great stay at the Hood Canal Beach House

We had a wonderful time at the Hood Canal Beach House. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was fully stocked with everything we needed. If I ever went back to the area I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful View

We came for a family wedding in Belfair and this house was located perfectly! It was beautiful, clean, and enough room for all of us. We had a great time and would love to go back. The owner was very accommodating and very pleasant to work with.

Beautiful Face and An Excellent and Responsive Host

Callie was great, our check in process was easy, and even when we had some hiccups during our stay, she was responsive, quick and very kind. The house was perfect for our staff retreat, the kids loved being there, and we took advantage of the beach front for our leisure times. We would definitely love to come back!

Lovely!

This Hood Canal beach house was a lovely place for us to stay as we gathered our extended family for a special weekend together. The view is beautiful, and so is the house itself. We truly wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return. The owner was very helpful in providing information and answering any questions and concerns that came up.

Prepare to Enjoy your stay!

My family (including a toddler) and I very much enjoyed our relaxing time at this home. The views were spectacular! The weather even better :) We enjoyed many hikes in the area, and even drove to Olympic National Park for a hike (about a 90 minute drive, one way) ... My husband golfed several times and was also able to work as the internet connection, while not perfect, was very suitable for our needs. Thank you Ryan and Callie for a very enjoyable vacation.

Great home with view of Hood Canal!

We truly loved the view of the canal with all the windows facing out to take in the exceptional view. This home worked out perfectly for our yearly pinochle retreat of nine ladies. The 4 bedrooms plus the extra sectional made making our sleeping arrangements fairly easy and with the 3 bathrooms we couldn't ask for more. Plenty of kitchen utensils and place settings. We usually try to rent in different areas to stay, but I would gladly rent this property again and the hostess was one of the easiest to work with. Thanks Callie!

Incredible views!

Beautiful property with plenty of room. Extraordinarily well equipped with beach toys and chairs, kitchen utensils, toys for kids, propane and firewood. Lots of everything you may need. Nearby Belfair State Park was a great visit - go at low tide. Convenient to beach. Check-in very easy and Callie is very responsive. She answered emails in minutes! Be aware that you will have to carry out your own garbage to the refuse facility in Bremerton - dump fee $36. (or carry it home) (lots of trash bags at the house)

Fabulous house with gorgeous views!

We stayed here for our annual girls (long) weekend. We fell in love with this home the moment we stepped foot in the door. The living room is all windows, which allows you to really take in the beautiful views! The beds are very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The gas grill was used each night! We really appreciated the availability of wood for the patio fire pit. And, we played many of the games we found in the house! It was a unanimous decision to keep this place bookmarked for future trips. Thanks Callie for being so great to work with and for making our stay so memorable.

Wonderful Weekend on the Canal

Callie was a great hostess. I had a lot of questions and she always returned my emails promptly. The house was stocked with everything we needed - including kayaks which was really fun. We saw otters that swam up to our kayaks - precious. The canal is beautiful as was the home. We BBQ'd out on the patio and enjoyed the view as we dined. The only suggestion I have is to provide more info on "things to do" We searched for a recommended hike and never could find it which was disappointing, but we were exploring so it wasn't a huge issue. Great stay Great Host - thanks Callie!!

Wonderful family reunion

We had a wonderful time there. Our party has 8 adults & 4 kids, and there is plenty of room for everyone. The view & house is beautiful, and very peaceful from the living room & outside patio. The house is very clean and well equipped. The kids had great time playing the rec room. You don't need to bring anything except personnel items. It's first time for us in the area. We harvested lots of oysters and mussels in the state parks, also did swimming and boating the the community beach, and had wonderful time. Will definitely return again in the future.

Family Reunion Home Base

There were 8 adults staying with the full count the middle 3 of the 5 nights with some arriving later or leaving sooner. The location worked out fine for meeting with other local (Bremerton to Shelton) and visiting family. The kitchen had everything one could want in utensils, pots/pans, dishes, etc. The views were wonderful especially from the patio, well equipped with lots of outdoor chairs and a couple good sized tables, beach access was great. Only thing was we had 4 cars with us coming from different places and different times, so navigating the narrow driveway to get to the area at the house to park the cars was a juggling act at times.

Spacious, comfortable, fully equipped rental with a view

This is a wonderful home for a large group of family and friends. First floor interior boasts a well-equipped kitchen, dining table for 8, comfortable living room couch, recliner, and chairs, a full bath with dual vanities, and a king bed in the master. There is also a laundry room and showered bath off the kitchen. Upstairs has a separate lounge area and 3 bedrooms (queen bed in two rooms and bunk beds and a double/queen bed in the third room). There is a half bath on the second floor. We made use of the grill and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the paved patio that has plenty of seating. Guests have access to the private beach area/dock, which is a nice walk down the hill. Caveat: Parking is tight for trucks or more than two sedans. Callie was accommodating and helpful with all concerns and questions. Book your stay here--you will love this home away from home!

EXQUISITE!

This is the perfect home to spend your time at! We spent 3 days here and couldn't imagine spending them anywhere else. The house is neat, clean and very well appointed, with just about anything you may want or need. There was plenty of room for us, our children and grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, our grandkids made s'mores one night, which was a huge treat for them. The view is spectacular during the day, watching seals etc. play in the canal. After the moon comes up, it reflects on the water, making for a very romantic evening. Callie was so wonderful with her emails keeping us informed. She was only an email away, and was always so quick at responding to any questions I may have had. Thank you, Callie, for allowing us to rent your home for the weekend! Your hospitality was greatly appreciated and we look forward to staying here the next time we come to the canal.

Couldn’t of been any better!

The house is fabulous! Rooms for all the kids (adults now) upstairs and the master with a view downstairs. The entire living room has walls of windows that give you the beautiful views of the water, trees, birds, moon and stars. We didn’t need for anything! We used the BBQ for Salmon and chicken. And then put wood in the fire pit to make s’mores. Everyone in the family thanked me for finding this beautiful home. Thank you Callie for being a wonderful hostess and for letting our family stay it was wonderful. The one thing I would advise any other Guests, is to make the drive to Sheldon to shop at Walmart. The local Safeway is super expensive. The neighbors were friendly and said hello and unfortunately told us we missed the killer whales by one day they were in the water swimming and frolicking around the morning before we arrived. Sorry to miss them but our trip nevertheless was wonderful.

Beautiful Views and the Best Stocked House!

From the moment we walked in and saw how open the lower living area was, the great views of the Hood Canal and how comfortable everything was, we knew it would be hard to leave. Myself and two girlfriends shared the home. I was lucky to have the downstairs (main level) bedroom with a slider that opened up to the patio and each morning I would wake up to a view of the water. The bed was heaven and literally one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. I'm looking online for the pillows (oh my!). The house was stocked with more towels, linens, toilet paper, dish soap and laundry soap than I've ever seen in a home. The kitchen was roomy and the three of us were in there at the same time often as we prepared meals. Eating on the deck with a gentle breeze and the sounds of birds chirping in the trees was peaceful. When it was too cold to sit outside, I would sit in one of the leather rockers facing the big picture window and just watch the water. The upstairs has three bedrooms and a big rec room with a TV and a large sofa. The ladies I shared with both said their beds were comfortable. There isn't a dresser in the room with the bunk beds and in the other queen that overlooks the balcony, there isn't a closet. They both shared the downstairs bathroom and I used the bathroom closest to the master (not attached). The lines on my bed were so soft and the fluffy comforter kept me warm when the nights got chilly. The downstairs living area was remodeled in 2009 (based on the guest book), and was done very tastefully with a great beach decor. The upstairs could use a facelift (new carpet and ceiling tiles) and maybe a coat of light paint, but we spent most of our time downstairs and outside. Both ladies took a swim from the private dock, which has a grassy area, bathroom and picnic tables, as well as a boat launch. With advance notice you can arrange to get the key so you can drive down to the launch. There is plenty to do here; paddle, bike ride, hike or just relax. We were about 25 minutes from Safeway and with our adventures this wasn't a problem as we just stopped on our way in or out of town. We ate at Pat's Little Red Barn but the food wasn't very good. If you plan to kayak, check out the Tahuya River just at mile marker 14 on NE North Shore Rd. We paddled upstream with the incoming tide, it was peaceful and very pretty. We rode our bikes around Maggie Lake a few times to get in some hills. I will stay here again!

Lovely Thanksgiving weekend

Spent a long lovely thanksgiving weekend at Callie’s Hood Canal spot! Accommodations were comfortable and you can’t beat the view! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a group of 8 - highly recommend!
