Such a beautiful setting, gracious hosts, cozy comfortable, superb breakfasts especially her famous cinnamon rolls . Great conversation and hosts bend over backwards to make your stay the best

Very comfortable and welcoming

We were made very welcome into their beautiful wood based home and like all other reviewers loved the cinnamon buns!! Jeff and Yvette were very prompt to respond to our requests and concerns.. we’d be very glad to recommend this location to others

Beautiful Getaway

Yvette is a fantastic host and definitely specializes in hospitality. The basement of the home provided a private, clean (and recreational, pool/darts/tv) space from the rest of the house. Also, the cinnamon rolls provided at breakfast were a phenomenal bonus before check out!

Wonderful weekend with friends!

We are so happy we found this place; it was an honest-to-goodness bed and breakfast like back in the day. Actually, even better, because we had a whole separate area amazingly equipped for fun and relaxation, but the hosts were upstairs and ready to make sure we felt spoiled and taken care of (which we did!). It is so evident this isn’t just a business for Yvette; she loves to serve and hospitality is her love language. If you want a house all by yourself with no one else around then this might not be the place for you. But if you remember how traditional bed and breaksfasts worked and liked that setup, you will LOVE this place. The reviews weren’t kidding about the delicious breakfasts, served at the time of your choosing; the property is beautiful and so serene; there was plenty of space inside for our group of 4 to have fun, catch up, and relax. We are so grateful to Yvette and Jeff for hosting such a wonderful weekend for us! p.s. the space does not have a full kitchen, but has a mini fridge, microwave, and indoor grill. Knowing this, we brought foods that required minimal preparation, but if we needed anything Yvette didn’t mind us asking and she was happy to oblige!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Rustc Valley B & B. There was lots of space, both inside and outside. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower and lots of supplies. We really enjoyed getting to know the hosts over the homemade breakfasts that were included. We would highly recommend staying here!

Best Hosts Ever

Quiet, beautiful, country, river setting with the most kind, generous and accomodating hosts. We were in the area for a wedding and Rustic Valley B&B was highly recommended. After staying here, we know why. I will share our wonderful experience and highly recommend anyone wanting a place to stay to stay here. Yvette is an amazing cook and serves a wonderful breakfast (cinnamon rolls are amazing and her mom's recipe).Large bathroom and shower. Large bedroom suite with comfy bed and pillows. Pool table (my hubby's favorite). Coffee, teas, hot chocolate, microwave and fridge, sink, etc. Large seating area to warch TV and relax. Lots of outdoor space with firepit, tree swing. Loved hearing the rooster in the background.

Amazing Hospitality

Yvette and Jeff were amazing hosts! The home was clean and full of activities to keep us busy during our short stay. The property is simply stunning. We had a great breakfast and great conversation. I highly suggest dinner at Stellar 181 taphouse in town and a coffee from next door. fancy coffee

The best!!

My friend and I stayed there on August 7 and the stay was so relaxing we decided not to do our original plan so we could enjoy the entire time of stay. The hosts were fabulous and so helpful and accommodating. They wanted to help us in any way. The breakfast was wonderful and enjoyed visiting with the host. Can’t wait to go back.

Yvette and Jeff are amazing hosts! Their home is comfortable and charming. If you want a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. By the way, breakfast is awesome. Especially the caramel rolls.

Relaxing rural setting

We had a great time. Hosts were wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and filling, good start to the day. Setting is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Hosts have thought of every need and lots of extras for entertainment. Only minuses is drive on gravel, remoteness and spotty internet. But then that is also the things that make it a great stay. Would highly recommend and I would go back again if in area.

We were spoiled!

We had a very nice stay at Rustic Valley. The location was easy to find, yet very private. Three nights meant three different breakfasts, serve up as we were sitting down to the table, at whatever time we requested. Yvette and Jeff were very accommodating, they “spoiled” us!

Rustic Valley B&B

If you are visiting southeastern MN and need a homey place to lay your head, Rustic Valley is the place to land. Yvette & Jeff are very welcoming. They offer the lower level of their comfortable & roomy home for your stay. Deer Creek runs through their back yard. The grounds surrounding their home are perfect for a family gathering or a girls weekend. They are located close to the tourist areas of Lanesboro & Harmony. Both Yvette & Jeff cook up a delicious country breakfast that will keep you full til dinner! Their hospitality & warmth are sincere, generous, & welcoming. We felt like we were welcomed in like we were family.

Nice stay

Beautiful property, a river runs through it snd a nice area with bench swings and a fire pit. great hosts- very welcoming and friendly. Stayed as it was close to state parks, also a very nice winery near by.

Country oasis surrounded by activities

My daughter and i were seeking a restful place to stay in the lanesboro/Preston area. We had events and a wedding, this place was perfect! Close to both towns, lots to do and dining options yet off the beaten path to feel like we were on a retreat. The hosts were so welcoming but also gave us space. Their property is beautiful and peaceful we would def stay again!

Wonderful day and place

We were warmly greeted by Yvette and Jeff. The lower level of their house is filled with light and nicely decorated. Very relaxing after a long day of driving. Enjoyed the chickens, rooster, dogs and cat. AND the marvelous breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Great place and great owners

It is out in the country. Lots of stars at night. Comfortable bed. Clean and up to date space. Owners are very nice. Great breakfast. Cinnamon rolls are delicious. Property is close to two State Parks. Wineries and breweries nearby. Will recommend to my friends. We will stay again.
