Bad Choice
Upon arrival to the property, there was debris on the entryway that made it difficult to enter. Then as we entered there was a smell of smoke, so I contacted the property manager to simply let them know with a picture of the entryway debris and to let them know of the smoke smell. The response was this “no, it absolutely does not smell like smoke”. My Response was “my opinion it does”. The next response caught me a little off guard and was very unprofessional, “It’s a false opinion. You are lying”. In addition, the debris on the entryway was not picked up by Amazon the next day as indicated by property manager.
The property did look similar to photos and had nice dishes, etc. there was effort put into the chic style. However, the smell made the place feel dirty. Perhaps the smell was in the old carpet thru out the property.
We were scheduled for 2 night stay, but decided to take the loss and leave in the early afternoon the next day.
As a Veteran, I would not say this is the worst place I’ve stayed. However with a choice, I would not stay here again.
