Best location in the area!! In the heart of Hatfield and McCoy. We are less than a 1/2 a miles from the warrior trail and within 3 miles of the connector trail to Indian ride and pinnacle. Also Indian ridge connects to Pocahontas! So 4 trails accessible from this house. Not to mention unlimited amount of outlaw trails close by. It’s also within 3 miles of the trail head to the wagon wheel/riders paradise!! This house is located within 3 miles of Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Subway, Pizza Hut, Sterling Drive-In, huddle hut, and KFC. It’s also within 3 miles of a four wheeler store and repair shop, car wash, 2 grocery stores, 3 gas stations, advance auto, shoe show, family dollar, dollar tree, hardware store, and mechanic shop. Its within a mile of 2 drug stores and a movie theatre! It’s within 1 mile of linkous park which has FREE tennis courts, a basketball court, walking path, and a nice playground for kids. There’s also a very nice outdoor pool there also! Theres a great outdoor area at the house for just setting around the campfire and enjoying the evening after a great day riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, white water rafting, skiing, hunting, or hiking the great mountains of WV! All amenities are included and then some!! We have grill, WiFi, washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator, dish washer, 6 beds, and a fully stocked house with everything you need. We also have trail maps available at the house. Everything is accessible by ATV once you get here there’s no need to get back in your vehicle!! No trailering needed to get to any of these places!! If you need more room we have a nice camper that sleeps 10 that we can pull in and set up for additional guests. We also rent out kayaks and our Honda pioneer 1000 which is a 5 seater in a package deal if needed and we have a 50 amp full hookup for a camper. To use the hookup it will be an additional $50 a night to be paid at the time of booking. Ask for details on RV hookup or any of these extras we will have to do that outside of Airbnb..So come and enjoy some southern hospitality! We want you to make your trip a yearly experience! Owners were nice and quick to call. 2 thingsFirst was tub in bathroom must have just been redone. It was off gassing terrible smell and peeling upKey for front and side door don’t match. We got locked out.

The Good:Price was great and check in was extremely efficient. Host messaged us almost immediately asking if we need anything to let them know! Location was great if you plan on riding the dragon, and a short trip to the BOTD. Rooms appeared clean, and house inside was tidy. Neighbors also seemed friendly and waved when we seen them. The not so good:We planned to grill out, but the grill was very dirty and heavily abused. There was garbage left inside the grill, and in the fire pit (assuming from prior guests)Coffee pot didn’t work - so we had to pick one up.If you plan to cook, bring a pan/skillet. those provided are also heavily abused and are in very poor condition. Shower has low pressure and seems to need fixed. I’m not a plumber but the majority of water comes out the spigot and not the shower head when turned on.The “not so good” list is all amenity’s that could be easily fixed and make future stays more than good! We will certainly look at this place again, but I do hope they upgrade some of the QOL items.

ATV family vacation

Easy check in/ check out. Very clean. Good wifi. Plenty of parking for our truck, trailer and ATVs. Near a main road- easy access but a bit noisy. Bunks in all the bedrooms. (Mattresses we not very comfortable though.) Small kitchen with the basics, nothing fancy. I think this is by far the nicest VRBO in Welch!! With the best parking! Owner was very responsive and helpful. No problems with the stay. We would stay here again if ever back in Welch.

Heartland

This house was small but very clean inside, close to warrior trail system but a drive to Indian Ridge, Pocahontas & Pinnacle Creek about an hour of road driving to get to the other three. Great water pressure, no chairs for fire pit area. Plenty of parking area for machines and trailers. Food places very close by and gas close by.
