We had a lovely stay, however, be prepared to make a steep hike up to the cabin so plan accordingly.

Glad you had a wonderful stay. Yes! The description does include a steep hike to the cabin. It's not for everyone, but for those that like it, is a undiscovered gem in the middle of the RRG geological area.

We absolutely loved everything about the cabin and our stay! The communication was great, the location was perfect and we would 100% love to come back and stay again!!

Idyllic retreat

Wonderful little property, enjoyed having a fire with some tea on the kettle, swinging in the hammocks and looking at the stars. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for a reset from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again

Perfect in every way

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Peregrine Cabin more. Description was accurate and location perfect for anyone looking for some privacy and to be surrounded by the beautiful wilderness the area has to offer. We can't wait to go back.

Perfect getaway!

We were looking for a new way to enjoy Red River Gorge, this was it! Instead of the usual camping we were able to stay off grid. The cabin was clean, comfortable and close to some of our favorite hiking spots. Management was great! We ran out of propane but they replaced it right away. We will definitely be back.

Everything you need

The cabin was great for a weekend to hike and sit by a fire. There are 3 other cabins on the property (scattered up the hill), but they are spread out and out of sight. At night it gets very quiet.

Enjoyable nature getaway

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Check-in was easy. Property managers are easy to communicate with. We had an issue with the water not working while we were there and they quickly remedied the issue. They sent suggestions for where to eat in advance. The operations manager that fixed the water was very friendly and made recommendations for places to visit. The property was clean and unique. We loved the rooftop swings and the rope web. Very cool. The hardest part is the hike up. It is a challenge, especially with carrying all the items you have packed. There are 2 cats and a dog you are likely to meet that roam the property. We enjoyed running in to them and having them follow us around. We would definitely come back.
