This was a lovely stay in Ellsworth. Being located in the old downtown area and walking distance to restaurants was very enjoyable. Location is only about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia NP which is so very convenient and much less crowded. The apt. Is very clean and homey, we were very comfortable here. This listing is in a perfect location for visiting the areas attractions at an affordable rate for the area. We found the listing to be clean and communication with the host was seamless. This listing worked out well for us but note there is a steep set of stairs to gain entry into the apartment so if you are not able to navigate stairs this property may not be for you. Also, this was Apartment A and there is an Apartment B adjacent to this listing. If I had my choice of the two I would probably pick Apartment B due to the fact it is at the back of the building and not facing the street where you pick up the sound of traffic in the mornings. No regrets on staying at this rental and would consider it again in the future

My wife and I had a great stay!! It’s a very nice apartment and the perfect location if you want to go explore Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which is only about a half hour away. The town of Ellsworth has a lot of great restaurants too! Thank you to the owners, Linda and Hans, who were very responsive when needed and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable!

This space was perfect for our weekend away! Plenty of restaurants and shops around, just 40 minutes to Acadia, and ample parking. The apartment was so nice and I will be dreaming about that mattress. The one downside is that most places around close by 10 pm, but there's nothing you can do about that!
