Very nice

We were visiting for a surprise birthday party and chose this property because it was close to the festivities. Large lovely rooms, clean. No complaints. The front door lock gave us a little trouble at first but Anne sorted us out quickly even though it was very late when we arrived. Great choice for a family or group.

Had everything we needed

The house was well equipped, the upstairs beds were very comfy. Having 2 children under 3 one being an infant and the temperatures in the 30s Anne accommodated us for a possible early check-in. Unfortunately we did have air conditioning problems. Anne was attentive to our needs, helping solve he problem and brought fans to help cool us until the temperatures dropped.

Lovely home

Very clean and homecoming house. Nice park for the kids at walking distance. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful place to stay!

It is a great location and easy to get to highway 401. This make it convenient to visit other areas of Ontario. The home was clean and extremely welcoming and we have stayed in this location once before. I visit this area once a year and will request this location again next year as well!

Great cozy stay for vacation

Our stay was wonderful. The neighborhood was awesome which is always a concern especially if you’ve never been to the area before. The house was clean, and fresh. Access to the property was seamless and we didn’t need anything more while we were there. This is definitely a favorite for my next stay Canada. Host was always available when I had questions and polite.

Plenty of space

We booked this house after struggling with one bathroom and little space in a hotel. A lot of room for all here. Area is quiet but everything you need is close. Host very responsive.

Enjoyed our stay

Overall the house meet our needs for a family of 4 with 2 adult kids. Close to gas stations, grocery store and restaurants but a little far from downtown Toronto. Would like to see an outdoor grill and some patio furniture to enjoy the backyard when it’s nice out. Also a pool table or ping pong table in the basement would be nice as well. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Would recommend as we enjoyed our stay but a few more touches would be nice. Thanks.

Clean, comfortable and safe home near Toronto

Two couples stayed for two nights while visiting friends and touring Toronto. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and the 2 and one half bathrooms made it so that no one ever had to wait! That's a real plus. If we had more time we could have explored the very nearby sporting complex. Anne was always responsive to questions, even those made in the later evening and interacted with respect and good humor. Thank you Anne for a relaxing home away from home, so much better than a hotel.

Comfortable accomodations

House was well maintained. Lots of amenities to make you feel at home. Travel time to Toronto was not too bad but traveling to the falls was a bit much if u don't like long drives.

Great Place and Stay

This property was as described. We were visiting Toronto for a long weekend and wanted to stay outside of the city to keep cost down a bit. It was perfect for what we needed, clean , well equipped with everything we needed, good neighborhood and easy access to stores, restaurants, highway etc

Wonderful home away from home

Getaway in Pickering

The owner was so easy to communicate with and the property was just as described. It was comfortable and extremely clean. It was easy to find and a very quiet neighborhood. We come back to the area every year and will be contacting this owner to re-rent again.

fantastisch huis in een woonwijk

het is een heel ruime woning met 4 volwaardige ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. alles was heel proper en de bedden waren heel goed. er was een ruime goed ingerichte keuken. van de tuin hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. het is wel een eindje van Toronto, ( 30 min) maar wij hadden een wagen en dus was er geen probleem.

Spacious place to stay

We appreciated the spaciousness of this house. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Communication with the property owner was prompt. Location was desirable for our excursions. Note that there are not tvs in the bedrooms. We did find using the kitchen stove challenging as the numbers/temperature indicators had been removed from the stove display.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We would highly recommend this VRBO. The house with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths was very clean, fully stocked and located close enough to the highway to be a relatively short drive to Toronto. Anne is a wonderful host and immediately responded to any issues that arose. We will definitely try to come back soon. Thank you, Anne.

Amazing!!

We had a wonderful time at Anne’s place. The place was very clean, spacious, and had everything to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and there’s a recreational center just 5 minutes away, which was perfect for the kids.
