What a great place to stay! Several places throughout the home and property to gather and hangout as a large family. Absolutely must stop by the winery for a few bottles to enjoy the night. Would recommended ensuring your remember to bring your own shampoo and soap.

SDSU vs WY wrestling bound

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful home. Plenty of room for our group of 10. We enjoyed checking out the grounds, especially enjoyed the wine tasting at the winery.

Fun weekend

The house was great and had plenty of space. The view was gorgeous. We had a lot of fun staying at the vineyard. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Great house for extended family to share for a weekend sporting event at SDSU. Plenty of space to hang out as a family, but spread out when needed. Kitchen was stocked with necessities to make meals and the grill was perfect to use for the surprisingly warm February weekend. We loved that we could bring our dog too. Instructions were easy to follow, check-out asks were minimal and very basic compared to some VRBOs we have stayed at. The adults ventured over to the winery one evening and had a great time. The coffee shop in Volga was also well liked. We definitely recommend this rental. It was much more comfortable than hanging out in hotel rooms!

House was great, large and everything we needed for the trip. There were minimal hygiene products offered such as hand and body soaps/shampoo, so make sure to pack your own. The only negative was the thermostat being locked and not able to change the settings. Upstairs was perfect at 70 degrees but the basement was freezing @ 56 degrees. That being said, we did not reach out to the host to fix or obtain the thermostat code, so could have been an easy fix, we just didn’t spend enough time there to worry about it.

Beautiful venue

Dillon was amazing to work with! We loved the location and the house was perfect for our nephews high school graduation party. We missed getting to enjoy the winery so definitely need a return visit! Jen Bush

SDSU Graduation Weekend

We stayed here for SDSU graduation weekend. We were able to have all of our family under one roof. It is a bit of a drive from campus, but completely worth it! The house was great, the vineyard was peaceful with wonderful sunsets, the winery was great for our guests to be able to enjoy, and Dillon was fabulous to work with for our weekend!

Girls Weekend 2025

We had a lovely time at Schadé. Several enjoyed the wine tasting and also walking in the vineyard. We found a small beautiful clear lake for wading in or just enjoying the beach. There was one wedding reception and another wedding and reception there during our stay. We enjoyed watching the people having such fun. We also got to sit on the deck and listen to some great music. Also Fred was wonderful! I would recommend a stay at Schade’ for quiet in the country.

Girls weekend

Property is beautiful, house worked great for our group of 10. Well stocked except for number of forks (8 for our group of 10?!), and large bowls. Minor details. Enjoyed wine tasting right next door. Overall, would highly recommend.

4BR Vineyard home in Brookings SD

This 4BR Vineyard property worked perfectly for our team work meeting in early December. The house was clean and had plenty of room for everyone on our team plus a few of our hunting companions. Dillon was a great host and the staff at the Schade Winery right next door were amazing. This country location right outside of town worked great for us and was close enough to run and grab anything we needed while staying there. Thank you

Beautiful, relaxing getaway

A beautiful home, exactly as advertised. We didn't leave the property for our entire stay! Enjoyed a wine tasting, wandering the vineyard, the property and Fred, the winery dog. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Close enough to Brookings to enjoy what it has to offer, if we wanted. We will definitely consider visiting again. A perfect respite.
