Beautiful Property!

This place has everything you need. We enjoyed the hot tub on the property and the short drive to Big Sky. Would stay again!

Awesome stay in Big Sky

Our stay at the Happy Moose was incredible with the location being so close to the ski resort and the adorable downtown Big Sky. I also appreciated the walking trails in the neighborhood.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at Staying Happy Moose! Everything was exactly as advertised, communication was great, and we had a great time! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Great spot

A great place to reconnect with friends for a ski trip. The property was very clean and in a great location. The hot tub and fireplace made it a cozy stay in the evenings. As a bonus, there are some truly stunning views out of the front of the house! We loved our stay.

Fabulous getaway

We loved our stay in Big Sky - plenty of room and great lounging spaces. Being close to both nordic and downhill skiing was a huge perk.

Family Reunion

Happy Moose house was as advertised. The location was very good , plenty of room for three retired couples, large kitchen and good outdoor space.

Convenient and Spacious

Exactly what we were looking for to do some skiing at Big Sky with some friends that weekend. Would rent again!

Perfect location and property!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The kids (ages 12-9) LOVED the bunk room! The property was in a nice, quiet neighborhood and also very close to the resort. They were also very good about snow removal and responsive. Could not have asked for a better experience.

The home was spacious and well suited for our family. Having 3 full bedrooms and another downstairs open bedroom was perfect for us. The common areas were comfortable with plenty of seating so we could visit and eat together. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook our meals and make our lunches for a full day on the mountain. The location was perfect. The mud room also very helpful to store our skis and snowboards and outdoor wear. The attention to detail was very appreciated. Things such as many hooks and boot mats in the mud room area and beds with bedding that were actually comfortable.

Happy Times at Happy Moose

The Happy Moose was a great location for our party of 10 adults ski vacation to Big Sky. It is spacious and clean and well-located to the ski area and other local activities, etc. We made good use of the hot tub and were visited in the front yard by a mama and baby moose! Wilson Properties was also helpful and accessible.

Sons wedding

Perfect location to the village and hikes and bike trails. We walked to the village almost everyday or evening. Loved the hot tub after a day out on the trails

Great for large groups

I was nervous bc we are a party of 9 and sometimes the pics can be deceiving in regards to space (fish lens, angles, etc) In this case the place was actually larger than expected. You get all 3 floors, sleeps 10 comfortably. Great communication and service from the management. Would def recommend and stay here again.

Fun spring break ski trip!

Our stay at the Happy Moose made our first trip to Big Sky amazing! We had 4 adults, 3 college age and 2 high school with plenty of space. The property management was attentive and even brought us a brand new crockpot when we couldn’t find the one that was supposed to be in the house. The inside of the house is extremely clean and updated with all the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again!

Good spot, loved the hot tub

This is a great place to stay. Loved the the hot tub. The management was really nice. A couple things we didn't realize in reading the description, there is a space that has bunks, there are no doors to that room, and you cannot use the garage, and there is not a pantry for food items. These were not a great deterent to us, but it is good to know them if you're looking at this place. Overall we were happy with this place.

It was our pleasure to host you all for an extended stay! We appreciate you taking great care of the home. A note for future travelers: the home is described as a 3-bedroom with a bunk room. There is a private, detached full bathroom next to the bunk room. The kitchen has a full wall of open cabinets and countertop for storage, it's a large, fully equipped kitchen.

Very nice property for our group of 8. Plenty of space for 4 couples. One recommendation is to add more hooks and towel racks to bathrooms and bedrooms. Also would add some rugs and /or yoga mat so us older skiers can stretch before/after skiing. Overall very nice and woudl book again. Thank you.

Good space for a large family/group but needs maintenance

We had a good stay at The Happy Moose. Plenty of room for our group of 7 to spread out. The hot tub and fireplace were great! The home is needing some maintenance though - the cold water dial in the upstairs shower doesn’t work so we weren’t able to use that shower as it was scalding, the kitchen faucet is clogged and doesn’t have hot water, the couch is falling apart, and the lower oven doesn’t work so we were only able to put 1 tray in at a time. The coffee maker didn’t work upon arrival but the property management company promptly brought a replacement. For the price point, we didn’t expect so many issues.

Excellent Ski House

Easily fit our group of 9, we never felt crowded. Everyone agreed, we would all come back. Specifically, the teens enjoyed the downstairs bunkroom with giant bean bags, even though there is not a door to close off the room from the rest of the house. The three other bedrooms were actually big enough we didn't have to step over suitcases to get around. The padded dining chairs were appreciated by sore skiers. The driveway easily held cars, and could have fit six, the garage is not available for parking. We chose to drive to the resort due to free parking and rides to the base. It would be possible to drive to the bus stop, but the bus runs only every 30 minutes.
