Casa Sol - A hideaway in central Fort Lauderdale

Casa Sol is a unique and tranquil getaway with a beautiful view of the lush garden and heated private pool and hot tub. It is two miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach. For dining and entertainment options, the house is a five minutes drive from Las Olas, Flagler Village, and Wilton Manors.

This retro home has been renovated with modern kitchen, full bathroom, pool bathroom (with outdoor shower), two bedrooms (1 queen/2 twins). A sliding glass wall in the dining room opens to allow for pool side dining or an evening view.

The secluded backyard with heated pool and hot tub are a wonderful escape day or night. The pool includes a sun shelf for in-water sunbathing or giving a young child a safe area to play. The raised hot tub feeds the pool via a peaceful waterfall. Sunsets can be enjoyed from the hot tub.

There is a 60 year old avocado tree in the backyard, which provides ample fruit for your enjoyment. Make all the fresh guacamole you would like.

Publix grocery store is 0.5 miles and Whole Foods Market is only 1.0 miles.

Beautiful property, awesome host!

This went smoothly from start to finish! Communication with Chris was frequent, informative and welcoming. The house is almost a “Smart” home with technology everywhere; all Smart TVs, IPad on the wall, an App to control pool and spa settings, and numerous USB boxes to plug in our devices. The yard was a tropical paradise with a pool and spa and even an outdoor shower! The most amazing part was that we reached the monthly data allowance on their internet because my husband and I were both working everyday and when I offered to pay the overage Chris said not to worry about it because he increased the plan to unlimited data! That was above and beyond our expectations. Definitely worth a visit!

NIGHTMARE in Wilton Manor

Only good I can say is the backyard was beautiful . Other than that the place was small TVs in the rooms didn’t work and even if they did they were super tiny. Sheets were old and outdated . There was a junk closet near the bathroom like literally had stuff just thrown in it . The outside shower ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING . Then the host accused me of chipping a table that was already chipped . We payed a cleaning fee only to be told we didn’t clean at check out … then was told I stained their couch … then after I replied the host says “u paid insurance so I’ll file a claim” The host even sent me PARAGRAPHS of messages accusing me of having a party because “the neighbors “ supposedly told them. The host ALSO after my stay told me she only host ppl from out of town not locals . I told the host I wasn’t a local and the host sends me screenshots of my VRBO information! I told her that a relocated (because people do that ) and then the host proceeded to tell me SHE DOESNT WANT TO GO BACK AN FORTH .. so why keep texting my phone if our business was complete … idk.. AGAIN The only good thing was the backyard .

Great Longer Term Stay

We stayed here for 4 weeks. Great location, the backyard is a paradise of its own! Never seen such a private backyard. Loved the little deck on the side, I was able to do my workouts in a private nook outside. There's even a shower outside which makes things very convenient. Located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a dog park close by for furry friends. Very friendly people, met tons of residents living in the area. The house is very well-equipped for a short term rental; had everything in the kitchen we needed. There's a Publix grocery store in walking distance, great restaurants and bakeries all in walking distance. The owner is very responsive, she checked in with us regularly. The property is in good shape. A pool guy cleans and maintains the pool weekly, and landscapers come every other week. We didn't have to do anything. Definitely a great place to spend a few weeks.

Paradise!!!

We have rented 4 houses in the Wilton Manors. Hands down this was the best!!! Communication with the owners of the property was awesome. Very clean house and property. The pool and jacuzzi was the best part. I definitely will be back

Backyard paradise

The house has all the basics you need. The backyard is divine!! The pool and hot tub get sun all day and are heated which is incredible for the cooler nights and days we had. Communication was very easy with the hosts and any issue we had was resolved immediately. Make sure to use the iPad tablet to adjust the pool and hot tub temps - it’s a game changer but not specified in the house info book.

Ideal spot to relax in the pool

My girlfriend and I rented Casa Sol for a week for a pandemic friendly pool vacation with our dog. The house is set in a pretty quiet neighborhood not far from the coast and a short walk/drive to a main road where you can find food and essentials. The interior is chic and cozy and stocked with everything you need. The highlight is the pool, which is heated, set in the fully fenced and private back yard. It's a beautiful setting, surrounded by palms, and great for relaxing. There is an awning you can extend over the back patio for shade, too, if desired.

Nice place to Stay

Overall, this is a really nice place to stay. The owner was OUTSTANDING in terms of responsiveness and making you feel comfortable. The place was clean and the bed comfortable. And so was the living area couch. The backyard was really pretty and relaxing. The house is very close to Holiday Park where i exercised everyday and brought my pup to play. A beautiful park! The reason I gave it an overall 4 star rating were for the following reasons: there was no cable tv in the bedrooms and I really need that to fall asleep. I am also someone who responds to a well lit house however, the lighting in the entire house was very very dim. I understand it was probably due to the 1970s decorating motif which was cool but not my style. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

The best owner ever.

We had a wonderful stay. The house, decorated vintage with great taste, is agreeable and impeccable, and the backyard, with its lush vegetation and its huge, beautiful pool and attached jacuzzi is amazing. But what tops it all, is the five star service provided buy the owner, Honey Moon, and her crew. Examples : Problem with AC was addressed immediately, without delay...but technician had to come back 2-3 times, changing a different defective part each time...without our asking, the owner gave us a $200.00 credit... « rare ! ». The water was cut off, by the CITY : The owner gave us access to her other house (not rented) next door, giving us permission to use the water and even take showers if needed...extraordinary reaction...and to ease the pain, offered us to go and buy two nice bottles of wine of our choosing, and send her the bill...out of the ordinary ! My plane leaves late at night...special permission to leave the house later during the day... And on and on... Honey Moon Udarbe is the best owner we have ever had...generous and fair. No wonder we just booked for 9 weeks in 2020 and 2021. 😇

Excellent House and Tropical Grounds!

Casa Sol was everything and more than we could have ever imagined! The house and grounds are beautiful! It is extremely private and we could not have picked a better place for our month visit. Honeymoon was so wonderful to work with. She answered questions immediately and she had so many details in the beautiful home from luxury bedding and towels and Kuerig machine to a fun kitchen with everything supplied to cook. Outside there was a big grill that we used almost every day to cook our fresh fish and shrimp. We used the pool and jacuzzi constantly and both were the perfect temperature always. At night the pool and grounds lit up and the pictures don’t do it justice! We felt like royalty staying here. We did go to the ocean several times as it’s just minutes away as are tons of restaurants. There was a bakery we walked our dogs to almost every day. But we were always so excited to get back to the house for pool time and cocktails! One of our favorite things was the outdoor shower and bathroom, so convenient and wonderful! Honeymoon also has an iPad to connect with Bose speakers for outdoor music and enjoyment while relaxing. I’m so sad to be leaving but plan to come back very soon!

Home away from Home

Honey was very accommodating and had his home more than ready for us to enjoy our stay even with short notice booking. We enjoyed the very private backyard with the heated pool and jacuzzi every day. Everything you could think of were provided for us from kitchen essentials to beach gear. The neighborhood was great to walk our dog in too! This home's location is convenient to enjoy all of the area's attractions. We enjoyed our stay!

Casa Sol Amazing

Just wanted to say this house was amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and more. The comfort and peace that surrounded the home was amazing no complaints at all. The pool was amazing, just loved the backyard and all it's floral surroundings. Would go back to this home as soon as I could. The host was amazing always available and responsive to any questions or concerns, Would recommend this home to everyone looking for a beautiful, cozy, all inclusive beach house. A sweet and quiet oasis

Unfortunately, because of a serious illness, we were not able to stay the full length of our rental. We absolutely loved everything about the house, the pool, the area and all the amenities. Honey was very accommodating and let our friends stay for part of the rental time. They loved it as well. Hope to get back there next year.

Good place to Stay

We stayed here mid April. The home away from home was a great change from a hotel room!! The house is comfortable and clean. We were new to Fort Lauderdale and found the house central to everything!! Hwy 1 n 13th was so close to grocery stores, restaurants and many beaches!! Pompano was a favourite but they are all so close we went to many different ones! J Marks restaurant was great at the corner of 13 n 1 highway about 2 min from home! Great food, bar n atmosphere after the beach. The pool in the yard and the privacy was nice to come home to and chill!! Thank you for a great stay!! Hope to come again soon!!

Home Away From Home

I hated to leave. Every possible need was anticipated (from umbrellas to corkscrews to beach towels to bicycles). The house was modern and remodeled top to bottom, impeccably cleaned and stylish, belonging in a trendy magazine yet conveying warmth and soul rather than contrived chic. Conveniently located near every place i went, often within walking distance, the house felt like home from the moment i arrived in a tropical rainstorm, which transitioned just as quickly to glorious sunshine.

Perfect place to stay

I was there only for a week which was way too short! The home is very comfortable. Space enough, go there with 4 people and you will like it! It was in a nice quit neigbourhood but close enough to be in ten minutes by car to everywhere you want to be in FLL. Owner is easy to contact and replies very fast on whatever question you might have. House is very complete, even a nice Bose bluetooth speaker so you can connect your own device and listen to your music whilst sitting in the garden or swimming in the pool.

little gem

House is a little gem close to the action but found ourselves wanting to stay put. Pool has a sophisticated look to it and the yard is a private oasis. Loved the mixed, modern and clean style inside the house. Outside shower was fun to use. Nearby French bakery a must stop. Ft. Lauderdale is a busy place and we were grateful to get back to Casa Sol after being out.

Great stay!

Great size house for a small family of 4. Amazing heated pool that had a nice shallow safe splash area for our small children. Very clean as pictured, quiet neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants, stores and the beach. Owners very easy to communicate with and very nice.

paradise!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house so very much! Have been here for a month and felt really comfortable, like home. The house is small but of course sufficent for the two of us. Finally a tastefully decorated home, thoroughly held in black/white/gold(yellow) everything matches. I loved to cook in the open kitchen. There is a regular coffee maker as well as a large Keurig coffee machine with capsules to use. There is a large washer and dryer, and there was lots of soap, detergent, paper towels and toilet paper for us to use. My husband took his daily morning shower outside, he said this was the best thing. And we so much enjoyed to sit outside in the beautiful backyard with lush green and blooming plants that attract lots of butterflies. When sitting in the backyard we watched the squirrels eat the avocados and some times we were lucky to have an avocado for ourselves before the squirrels find them first. And of course we loved the large heated pool and the hot tub! All in all we surely had a lovely time here and in renting this house we made the best decision ever.

Perfection

We rented this gem for one month. The house was perfect for us, we are two adults and 4 Chihuahuas! The house is great - it's clean, pretty, organized, perfectly stocked for cooking, very conveniently located, safe neighborhood, comfortable, you couldn't need anything else. The outdoor area is serene, actually it looks like a movie set, the pool is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. We are coming back next year! The owner, Honey, is extremely responsive to any request and gets back to you immediately,, it's really seamless booking the house. We are very, very happy to be able to recommend it!

Stunning & clean, with all you need!

We stayed at this villa for 4 nights & we loved every minute. The crisp clean heated pool & hottub is all you can imagine. The owner was very responsive to all our needs even bought a playpen for our baby girl. Highly recommended. Thank you Honey!

TROPLICAL OASIS

This property is a gem. It is the best Ft. Lauderdale location with close proximity to the beach, Las Olas and downtown. The house itself is very updated, beautiful, clean, has every modern convenience imaginable, and an incredible flow to the house for easy living. The sliding glass door opens the full width of the house directly to the covered patio creating an extended living area which is just amazing. The back yard is truly magical and the photos don't begin to convey the true tropical setting - it reminded me of the private villas of the Four Seasons in Bali - it is that magical. The heated pool and jacuzzi are spectacular and the setting rivals million dollar homes. House is set up with everything you need, and the owner is incredibly responsive. Misjudging my arrival time having never driven to Florida from NY, I arrived a day early and she quickly made all the arrangements to accommodate me. Any question was promptly answered and immediately accommodated - when I had trouble working the pool heater she literally had someone at the house in 15 minutes to show me. I rent online frequently and without question or hesitation this has been the best experience I have had. It is pure paradise. I should mention that the avocados in the back yard make the best guacamole you will ever eat -

I am an IT professional and bnb rental host along with my partner, Henry. We split our time between Cleveland OH, Fort Lauderdale FL, and Austin TX. We now work remotely full time, so we have taken this opportunity to also make Austin and Fort Lauderdale our adopted hometowns.

We designed and built our house in Cleveland in 2018 and enjoy hosting travelers from all parts of the world.
