This 1950’s old Florida pool home has recently been renovated and newly decorated with a midcentury style furniture featuring original hardwood floors, king size bed in the master bedroom, and queen size bed on the 2nd bedroom, and full-size sleeper sofa. Centrally located near downtown Fort Lauderdale close to the beach, Las Olas, Hard Rock, airport, seaport, train station, and convention center. The Zen-like backyard adorns a large swimming pool, synthetic grass with putting green, fire pit, BBQ grill, water feature, and tropical landscaping with night lighting. This beautiful cottage welcomes you to lush, well-lit grounds, a private driveway for up to four vehicles to a covered front porch entrance.

Literally no need to go to the beach when you have your own private gorgeous oasis in the backyard. Such a beautiful property management/owners were phenomenal. Definitely will be staying here again when we have the opportunity to.

What a great place!

First, the host was awesome to work with. He was very accommodating. The house is adorable and well appointed. We had everything we needed plus some. And the location is perfect…. Close to everything. I highly recommend this location.

So nice to sit by the pool!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Lotus. Gary is a great host - extremely responsive. House is very cute and cozy. Kitchen is compact but very functional. The real star is the backyard pool area. Several sitting areas both shaded and in the sun. The landscaping is really pretty with plenty of palm trees. Believe it or not, it’s even nicer than the pics. Very convenient location - max 15-20 minute drive to most places you’d want to go.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

We came here with twin infants and this house was perfect! We had our own little oasis and didn’t need to leave if we didn’t have to. The house was clean and very welcoming. You had everything you needed to cook. Very close to restaurants and beaches. What you see on the listing is very accurate. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would stay here again if we come back to Ft. Lauderdale.

FTL Getaway

I was in desperate need of a getaway vacation after the New Year and Christmas holidays. This home in Fort Lauderdale couldn't have been more perfect. Centrally located in the heart of the city, it was seemingly close to all the major attractions and about 8 min. from the airport. Upon arrival, I had some issues with the electronic door lock. Gary and Rocio were easy to reach by phone and had a backup plan already in place just in case there was an issue. They actually came over to the house the very next day to fix the lock. The home contained everything one would need for vacation, from kitchen to living room to the awesome pool and backyard which included a brand new Weber grill! Also, since I'm kind of a technology geek, the home had high speed internet, DirectTV, and RokuTV so you could log into your own favorite TV apps in case you wanted to catch up on a show if there was a rainy day. As I live in NJ, winter weather can cause a problem with travel as was the case with this trip. Rocio and Gary were able to extend my vacation so that I was able to travel after the snowstorm that was happening at home. All I can say is awesome and impressive! I will most definitely be back.

This place is a little paradise, backyard is hard to beat. The house is completely stocked with amenities and everything you need. The property was expertly cleaned and felt just like home. Owner very kind and responsive

Exactly as described

The host was super nice, the house is very clean and the location makes it convenient for airport, beaches and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and rooms very quiet making for a very restful night. Really enjoyed our stay!

Tropical cottage

Cottage is small but awesome backyard makes it seem much larger- covered patio, swimming pool, putting green, grill, and lounge chairs make it an outstanding rental, convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful and delightful.

Wow what an experience. Very clean, and entertainment all around you. The amenities were as advertised and more. The pool was definitely my favorite. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through the Fort Lauderdale area.

Lovely retreat

The Blue Lotus cottage is well located in a quite neighbourhood a short drive from the riverwalk and the beach. The house it lovely and the grounds immaculate. Great place to spend a week!

Wonderful, relaxing stay

The property and house you see in the pictures is even nicer in person. Not a big place but has plenty of room. Great living space in the back yard including TV and beautiful, well manicured property. The owners take great pride in this home and it shows. I encountered only a minor problem during my extended stay but the owners were quick to respond and handled it immediately. Newly renovated and it shows. Very happy with all aspects of my wonderful, relaxing stay.

Fantastic stay!!

This property is just right - accessible to everything easily, super quiet, fantastic pool and putting green in the private backyard, perfectly appointed, and literally has everything you would ever need!! Terrific, updated house with beautiful backyard

Stayed two nights with my siblings and loved it. Great house with nearly everything you could need (missing a hairdryer) and the backyard is so lovely. Saw a 5 foot iguana eating leaves in a tree! Lots of butterflies. Just lovely. Not much going on in the neighborhood but a quick drive brings you to lots of attractions.
