Our stay was great except for the rain and the power outage which we know is out of anyone’s control.

Great location

We loved it wish the room had bowls Tupperware for leftovers. We had a bbq and couldn’t store it. Over all great place and will stay here again

Just Okay

I vacation at Honua Kai every summer. This unit was one of my least favorites. The carpet needs to be replaced; there are stains everywhere. Also, it is not well equipped-no cleaning supplies, kitchen knickknacks, beach package. These are items I’m used to based on my previous experiences. If these were addressed, I would consider staying again.

We have done a deep clean on the carpet. For beach gear we provide chairs and a cooler, but due to liability reasons we do not provide any ocean-going equipment. In the future, if there are additional items you may need for the kitchen, please contact our guest experience team as we are happy to provide extras from our warehouse when possible. Outstanding Resort on Kaanapali Beach

We have stayed at the Houna Kai Resort several times, in both the Konea and Hokulani buildings. It's a wonderful place. It was a great experience. We love the proximity to Duke's and the convenient parking under the building. Everything worked well for the two of us, especially after we went to Target and stocked up on items that probably should have already been there. We left 20 clothes hangars, cleaning supplies, a bowl, etc. there, hopefully to help future renters. The only negative was the carpet which needs to be cleaned or replaced; we were fore-warned after reading other reviews and hoped this would be addressed before out stay, but no. The building was being painted while we were there; the noisy equipment didn't start up until after 8am. We will be back soon!

Each home has a standard inventory, and we are happy to provide additional items from our warehouse. Our guest experience team is available daily and happy to assist guests with extra items, so in the future please don’t hesitate to reach out for things like hangers, dishes, and cleaning supplies. We also followed up on the carpet and apologize that it wasn’t perfectly clean. We have done a deep shampoo on the carpet and have also reached out to the condo owner to consider replacement. We had an issue with the toilet plugging up twice and our plunger didn’t function. The frigates should be repaired or replaced. Don’t bother sending a notice to keep the refrigerator door closed when the door has malfunctioned.

Everything was great but not clear in internet instructions. Property manager was very helpful in M.

Lots of little extra charges than when we previously stayed there like cleaning fee. No pool towels etc.
