My family had a great time at PML. We loved the house. It was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked.

It was a beautiful home. Lots of room for our family vacation. It was further from the water than I thought, it was quite the hike! The beach at the lake was very nice. Groveland close by for groceries and dinner night out.

Great location- beautiful views, close to Yosemite national park. The spacious house is well equipped with all amenities and very comfortable for a family stay. The deck, a great place to gather and enjoy. If you can navigate the many many steps down to the private dock by the water, you will find a serene, gorgeous spot to relax. Hiking trails nearby a great too.

Everything in this house was perfect! The kids as well as the adults all loved our stay! The host responded very quickly to any questions! We will be coming back this summer!

We really enjoyed our time here. Stayed with my 4 adult children and 3 month old grandson. The house is amazing and perfectly set up for relaxation. The scenery is beautiful. The private dock is perfect for fishing, but be prepared for a little exercise going up and down. My daughter did it with the baby and my son did it multiple times a day, so it is totally manageable for most.

Family Vacation in PML

The house was beautiful. The location was lovely and it felt nice to have space to spread out in. The kitchen was well equipped and a dream to cook in. We did not use the dock and lake access because of the hike back up the hill. We spent part of our days at the marina, which was perfect.

Listing overstates “lake access” — the dock is in such bad shape there are no photos of it, and the long staircase down is steep, broken in places, and has no banister, making it unsafe and exhausting to climb, especially for kids or elderly guests. Despite charging a premium for this “amenity,” it’s unusable.Inside wasn’t better: towels were wet on arrival (host asked us to dry our own), torn matting under the dining table was a constant trip hazard, and mismatched, cheap dining chairs replaced what was pictured. We also saw ants and rodent droppings on windowsills, and heard mice or rats at night.This property is old, poorly maintained, and not worth the price.

Hi Evan, I’m sorry your stay was not up to your standard. As clearly described on the listing there are over 200 steps down to the dock. The towels were indeed still damp as the prior guests checked out late and my housekeepers were scrambling to get everything ready with your earlier than anticipated arrival. We have also since addressed the other items you raised in your review.

Family vacation

The house is very well appointed and beautifully furnished. Easily accommodated 12 people. Very comfortable! The lake is a great place to spend with kids. Caught several fish right off the dock & the kayaks were a lot of fun.

Loved our stay!!!

We’ve being staying at Pine Mountain Lake every summer for the last ten years. This house was one of our favorites and we will definitely be staying there again. It was huge and easily accommodated our three family’s and kids. Steve was the best host I’ve ever experienced. Super helpful and easy to communicate with. We are already planning our next stay here for summer 2025.

Great home for a much needed getaway

We had a lovely 3-night stay at this beautiful home! The location was perfect for our day trip to Yosemite, and we enjoyed being so close to the sweet downtown area. The house was spacious, welcoming, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed, and the bedrooms were great. The host was prompt with communication and focused on us enjoying our time—which we did. We’re already planning a return trip next year!

Birthday Getaway

The house was wonderful for a big group, close enough to the lake and kept us all cool during the summer heat. The house was clean and well kept when we arrived and have everything we needed from towels, to dishes. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay near Yosemite. I hope to be able to stay here again in the future! Thank you Steve.

Family girls outing

The house was bigger and nicer then in the pictures! $ sisters and a mom had a wonderful get away. Had everything we needed and the owner Stephen was quick to communicate and answer questions. The stairs to the lake were daunting to mom, but a road to the dock made all the difference! Beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked and quite view off the deck. Great stay, high recommendations!

Awesome Family Home

We had a wonderful time. The dining table is perfect as our family loves to cook and eat together and then play games after. The Olympics were on and we all watched on the large TV screen (our Cousin got the Bronze for Swimming!!❤️). We enjoyed the beautiful views from both decks and the long walks to the dock for early evening swims were magical! Great memories made!

Beautiful house, excellent location - perfect for telecommuting

We decided on a last minute family trip to Yosemite and this location fit the bill - perfect to accommodate the extended family and with high speed internet for those of us who could not manage days off of work. The house is gorgeous and well taken care of. The views from the interior and exterior are stunning. The host is very responsive and helpful. This is not a property to pass up if you have a chance to stay here. I am certain we will book again!

Beautiful spacious house, great kitchen and lovely master bedroom and bath. We are a family of cooks and ate all our meals at home because of well stocked kitchen with all we could need pots and pans etc We had a few glitches and Steve , the owner was very responsive in fixing them promptly .We were a multi generational family from 1 year to 74 years and it worked for all of us. Would be happy to return.
