Welcome to Moondance Vacation Rentals' latest addition in downtown Nashville—the Girlfriend Getaway Suite! If you're looking for a cozy place to stay during your shopping or concert trip, this suite offers two bedrooms, complete with a mini fridge for storing leftovers and a Keurig coffee maker with K-cups to keep you energized. Located above the Brown County Visitor Center, you can easily explore the village on foot within minutes. This suite can comfortably accommodate 2 guests with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom.

Please note, while you'll have complete privacy within your unit, the hallway is a common space for other unit renters on the same floor.

Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

The space was small but adequate for my friend and I for just an 2 night getaway, and it was clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower, though small, was great(needs caulked at the bottom-leaks). The location was great! Our biggest complaint was that the air conditioning was set so cold we froze, and there didn't seem to be a way to change it. The walls were pretty thin, so you heard people come and go outside your unit.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet. The street side bedroom could use a curtain to cut down on the lights from the building across the street.

Nice weekend get away

Location was excellent. Right in the middle of great shops with a lot of artisan buys. Convenient and quiet. Would stay again.

The pictures were very misleading. The quality was overall poor. Holes in the carpet, beat up and broken mini blinds,towels that were very old and worn. We actually went to a local store to purchase towels and a bath mat. Parking was not close by and this was not communicated in the listing. Outside door lock didn't work. We reached out to the host ( owned by a real estate company) and they did very little. Basically blamed Vrbo for the issues. My first time ever being this disappointed.

Had a great time. The separate rooms were great for my friend and I. Gave us a little extra privacy. Recommend for a girlfriend weekday/weekend getaway.

Girlfriend Getaway

Our stay was great. The only suggestions is brighter lighting where the table, microwave/mini fridge are located and replace the blinds. The only complaint is the loud, inconsiderate group of women that stayed down the hall. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Shopping get away

The property is small but Perfect for two people. Clean and very accessible to all the shops and restaurants. The only drawback is no place to lounge around with tv access other than the two small bedrooms.

Great location

This small two bedroom suite was perfect for our girlfriends get away. It’s no frills but the location was perfect. The unit was clean, and secure. We felt safe. Has a large bathroom (no lock on bathroom door) and again, clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was within walking distance to everything. Would stay here again.

Great location!

It was a cute little place. I wish we would have known the rooms weren't fully separated (wall to ceiling was open to every room). The shower was also very very slow. Other than that great stay!

I liked the location and the room was fine but the bathroom door could use a lock, more light needed by the microwave and table. Also, something to stir the coffee with would be helpful. I had to use my toothbrush handle.

Clean room with a good location for walking around Nashville and easy 30 minutes to Bloomington. Small space but perfect for myself and my daughter. Not quite private rooms, as mentioned, walls do not go all the way to the ceiling. The space is tidy, but walls and carpets show definite wear and tear.Our only real complaints are the room is advertised as "girlfriend getaway" but in the hallway marked A-D and had to guess which door was ours. Also, no designated parking is a bummer. We had no trouble getting a free spot, but might be an issue during the busier season.All that said, I would stay again if Bloomington is busy like this time.

Finding the property was easy upon arrival, and I was able to park right on the street. Parking is street-only, so it may depend on timing, but it wasn’t an issue for us and we didn’t move the car all weekend.Check-in should have been simple, but I had trouble finding the email with instructions. When I called, I initially reached voicemail and then had a somewhat frustrating interaction where I was repeatedly told the email had been sent instead of the issue being resolved. I ultimately had to request that the information be resent.The space itself was clean, but there were signs of wear such as a hole in the carpet, torn blinds, and a shower gasket coming loose. It’s also a smaller unit with limited privacy—sound carries easily between rooms, and one bedroom window faces a hallway with a light that stays on 24/7, which could be disruptive without a sleep mask. Temperature is also not adjustable within the unit.On the positive side, the location is excellent and very walkable to restaurants, wineries, and nearby conveniences. There is also an elevator, which was helpful since the unit is on the second floor.Overall, it worked fine for what we needed as a place to sleep while exploring, but it felt best suited for guests who are out most of the time and not expecting much privacy or common space. I would likely not stay here again.

Sister's getaway

Overall it was a nice place, it was very clean. Very small place, but was good for a few days. They should replace the blinds, there were a lot of broken spots. There had been a tornado go thru the town and there was no electricity, we wished we had been alerted to that. We also had to call to het the heat turned off, as it was a veey warm day and the rooms were at about 80 degrees. They did get back to us after about an hour and told us how to change it.
