Amazing place! Scenic, quiet, well maintained, lovely cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were amazing and accommodating. Well worth the chance to stay here and enjoy the beauty of the Butte-Wise area and the scenic pioneer bi-way of Montana.

Great get away, especially for outdoor pursuits!

This location can't be beat. Close enough to the highway to make finding it easy,ut far enough off the beaten path for real privacy and quiet.

A true, authentic Montana getaway!

Great hosts to work with! Utilities, appliances, WiFi worked perfectly. As others have noted, it is also stocked/used as a personal second home and construction is a work in progress.

Our main concern with this property was cleanliness. Within 5 minutes of arriving, I was sweeping the dirty floor (dirt and lots of dog hair) on the lower level of the unit. The shower mat in the bathroom was also soaked. There was a lot of clutter on the outside deck area and the lawn looked like it hadn’t been cut in a while. We opted to stay upstairs, as we felt we were intruding on the lower level master bedroom, as there personal shoes, etc in the closet (the fact this house was used by the family was disclosed on the listing, so no complaints there). One other issue of note was the loose posts around the edge of staircase and upper floor - they were wobbly and it’s questionable they would have stopped me from falling over the edge if I fell into them. Location was good and the road driving in was in good shape. Plenty of potential, but this place was a disappointment for about 300 a night (including fees, taxes, cleaning). 4/10

Montana Girls Trip

Beautiful cabin. Better than the pictures. A family of deer came down the hill on our last morning. Hated to leave. Will definitely be back. Amazing hosts.

Visit to Wise River

We had an enjoyable stay in Wise River. The cabin was in a convenient location for the activities we had planned. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi worked well and the provided firewood was a great benefit to heat the cabin in a short cold spell. The cabin was sufficiently clean but just know it appears to be a work in progress. It is definitely not a corporate rental and the owners use it often and leave the items they use there for their convenience.

Big Hole Cabin retreat

This is a great property for those wishing to get away from it all. Very quiet. The property will present nicely once outside construction is finished and yard cleaned up. Renters should be aware that the central heating is a wood burning stove on the ground floor. It heats up the cabin adequately. The loft is a lovely room to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped.

This cabin is in a great location and the hosts were great. The property is a little rough around the edges but perfectly adequate for a mountain getaway.

Winter Retreat

Truly, we enjoyed our Holiday stay! We unplugged, enjoyed the serene atmosphere, played board games, and laughed, alot! What a peaceful environment to reconnect with family!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. We were working remote and fishing. Great WiFi, nice outdoor area for cooking, and close to great fishing. Hosts were great and communicative.

Perfect!

Amazing, peaceful experience! The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring the beautiful state of Montana. It is only a short drive to Crystal Park and excellent fishing on the Big Hole River. The hosts were awesome. The cabin is complete with everything needed for a weekend getaway. We would definitely stay again.

Fishing Cabin

We had everything we needed at the cabin. It had great access to the big hole river. We saw a moose walking down the road of the cabin. The owners reached out before our stay. It was a great weekend!
