Very nice accommodations. Quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to tourist sites, restaurants and shopping. There is a grocery store less than a block away from the cottage.

My family enjoyed our stay at the carriage house so much that we extended our stay for an extra night. No frills, but that's what we expected. Quaint and historic, nice and private, within walking distance of everything in the historic district. Be sure to run the water for awhile before using it, as it has to come from the main house; kitchen tap water came out brown our first time turning it on until we ran it for a bit. We appreciated the host's binder, full of helpful restaurant recommendations and interesting history of the property.

Quiet Stay

Absolutely loved it here! Could not have chosen better place for me & my first trip to Savannah. Beautiful, historic, walkable, seemingly safe & desirable neighborhood. Very close to Forsyth Park, funky coffee shop/bakery, Mate Factor, with great casual menu & delicious bread, and a Krogers/Starbuck’s a short block off the back of the property. The Carriage House unit (1 of 2) was exactly as pictured — rustic, not fancy, yet cozy, clean, and well-appointed for a small space. Compact kitchen had everything I needed. It was a great experience all-around. Would return here in a heartbeat!

Great Location with Historic Charm

Love the location. The house had everything you could need while staying there including firewood and blankets in the living room. Lots of storage and closet space. Loved staying here.

Great Family Stay in a Unique, beautiful and historic setting

Savannah in Springtime is magical, and a home base for our family of four doesn’t get better than The Carriage House with the most beautiful azaleas in full bloom (late March) that we have ever seen. The historic setting and the location right next to Forsyth Park are what set this VRBO apart. Would book again and would recommend to anyone.
