Beautiful quiet place to stay.

We loved the location, the house was cute and very comfortable. The owners are amazing, I highly recommend a visit here.

The cabin was very cozy and clean. It offered more than we expected or needed in the kitchen. The location was beautiful and easy to find. We were attending an event at Tippet Rise. Getting there was a short drive.

Our experience was simply heavenly! From the cabin itself, to the beautiful ranch, to the quiet - and last but not least - to Deb the host, we can't think of the closest thing to a slice of heaven...

Very clean & cozy, and that's coming from a clean freak!Host was quite accomodating & responsive; place was well-supplied & well-equipped.Located on lovely rural property in a rural area, so very quiet, no stores or businesses of any sort right close. Nearest store about 3-4 miles.No view from the cabin but a great view if you take a little stroll. Kitchen well-appointed, but no food other than a little flour, salt & pepper, oil. There were paper towels & napkins, coffee filters, good quality TP. You'll find plenty of cooking/baking & eating equipment. Everything worked: windows opened, doors closed, dishwasher worked, stove & refrigerator/freezer worked, etc. We didn't try the washer or dryer.This is an OLD cabin, so floors are not level. There were mice in the ceiling/attic that you could hear at night, but didn't see any inside the cabin. The queen bed was fine & comfy. The twin & trundle beds were too short for 6' person.The tap water smells of sulphur, which is what's in the aquifer! There's a Pur filter on the kitchen tap & a pitcher with purified water in the fridge. Water is smelly in the shower/bathroom sink.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was well stocked with all the essentials. The owner was great at providing suggestions for places to eat. Cabin is close to hiking trails, site seeing, and a great place to star gaze.

Fishing and hiking vacation

Perfect little cabin on a beautiful ranch property with fishing access to the stream on the ranch. Beautiful views of the Beartooth Mountains. We fished the Stillwater River and hiked Woodbine. This is a rural location; bring groceries! Perfect for what we were looking for in the foothills of the Beartooths.

Fourth of July

We stayed over the Fourth of July. We have family who own property in the area and wanted to be close to them so we could participate in those activities but still close enough to Billings and Laurel to participate in the parade, fireworks, and other holiday activities. The cabin was quiet, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Deborah was easy to get ahold of and very polite.

Cozy Cabin Convenient to Tippet Rise

This is a cozy 2 bedroom cabin on a working ranch with a resident owner, Deb, in the main house. Deb very kindly loaned us a hiking guidebook and was a fine communicator. The house and kitchen are very well equipped. The house is 22 minutes drive from the Tippet Rise entrance.

Great Stay

Cabin was as advertised. Deb was great. There is little or no cell service but you can use the wifi if needed. After you get there you don't want anybody calling you, the views are spectacular. The fishing was good. We went to Red Lodge, Cody and Yellowstone NP from here. If you want to take kids fishing go to Wild Bill lake by Red Lodge lots of trout to catch.
