Relax with the whole family in this peaceful private cabin 198 acres of private land for hiking and enjoying nature. Close to hocking hills. 40 acres can be used for gun hunting. 150 acres of private land can be used for bow hunting. $200 will be charged for each group for each day that you actually hunt.. Close to Wayne national forest for additional hunting.

This is a great cabin- has everything you need for a very fair price. Note the recently painted green mailbox to find it on your way in at night. Everything is labeled and notes about the AC and remotes were very helpful.

It was as advertised, decent clean country setting …great price …. That being said the mattresses were pretty soft and we are used to firm ones. It was a bit musty however they did have dehumidifiers throughout. It was well stocked with everyday items. But if you like windows and sunshine you won’t get that you’ll have to go outside on the porch to get your sunshine. Cute decor…quite charming!

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and tidy. Lots of things to do in the area if you like nature. Lots and lots of trails. There is even a waterfall on the property. Pet friendly environment. I would come back.

The host were very accommodating and the place had everything you would need plus. Highly recommended and make sure you read the guest book, it will fill you in on what to do and ask of the host. If you are staying there to hike, you might not have to leave the property. We are looking to return

This place was awsome close enough to places but far enough to be away from people!! Dave and Britget was incredible. Great place to stay!!!

Dave and I love the outdoors so this is a perfect property for us. We have 2 married kids, 2 dogs and 3 cats and 40,000 honey bees. So if you see one, don't smash it. Dave has them all named. We love to fish, read, hike, . Dave grew up in toledo and I grew up in Michigan. Don't worry, I am a buckeye fan. Dave was in the army so we lived in Indiana, Boston, Korea and New York.

This property used to be a hunting preserve, so you may notice jurassic size fences around it. We opened up the gates and let in the natives. We have seen deer, turkey, mink, foxes, raccoons, skunks rabbits and squirrels. Dave will go out to hunt but I think he enjoys watching the animals more

We have a creek babbling through, the property and a waterful that is nice after a spring rain. It also looks incredible when it is frozen,
. If you would like to see it, let us know and we can provide walking directions. At night, it is country dark and the stars are amazing. There is an app to download that show the constellations if you are interested.
