The view from the home is beautiful, you can see Mount Rushmore in the distance. Nice Hiking on the property and close to everything. Very Private, which is nice when you come back from a long day. Crazy Horse is also, close. The Badlands is about an hour and 15 minutes away.
We also live on the property but we will never bother you unless you need something. You have your own place and we have our own home.

Beautiful private property with excellent accommodations. Views of Mt Rushmore from the back deck were amazing. This is the perfect location to visit many National parks and Monuments. Lisa, the host, was available and attentive...would stay at again!

What an amazing find! Loved everything about the stay. The location to all attractions couldn't have been better. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had all of the necessities plus some. Mike was communicative, kind and friendly. Thank you. Hope to come back soon.

Fantastic stay! The cabin was beautiful with views of Mt. Rushmore and relaxing forest. It was lovely to return to the cabin at the end of a busy day. It is off of the main roads (but not too far) and just a wonderful and comfortable place to relax. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Lisa was extremely kind and responsive. Overall wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again.

The guest house could not have been a more perfect ending to our Dakotas trip. Lisa and her husband were warm and gracious hosts who met us with fresh eggs. The space is beautifully appointed, and Lisa has thought of everything. The deck features stunning views of the forest and is a wonderful spot to relax after hiking the nearby trails.

Very cool place to stay. Sits right in the rocks and trees. Very clean with everything you might need. You can see Mt. Rushmore from the deck. Perfect for Sturgis Rally being right in the middle of the sights. Driveway is a little steep but very doable even for a motorcycle. Hosts are right next door but you only see or hear them if you reach out to them for something. Would definitely stay again.

This place is one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. We always try to find a place in the middle of everything we want to do and with its proximity to several of the main roads, it was a perfect choice. The property and the views were wonderful. Lisa and Mike were fantastic hosts and the home was comfortable and cozy. But be warned- you may fall in love with their affectionate cat!

Excellent location near most of the tourist attractions. Beautifully decorated guest house and it has a view of Mt Rushmore from the back deck which we loved. It was perfect for our stay! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. It was somewhat remote which was nice after a day of exploration. It has a flight of stairs for access and the deck is high so it would not work for those with mobility issues or small children.

What a gem! This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed in. Location is perfect to see all the area attractions. Close enough, but also far enough away for peace and quiet. The natural landscape is amazing. Clean and comfortable. The owners are on property but not intrusive. They made us aware they were available and willing to help us in any way. You will not go wrong by staying at the Glendale Cabin.

Such a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and great hosts. If you love nature, you will love this place. Close to many places to explore (Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Badlands, Hill City, Keystone, Custer). Lovely deck to sit outside and relax.

Just perfect! All the superlatives apply. Nestled in a ponderosa pine forest with a wonderful view, it was the perfect place to return to after a “ hard day” being a tourist. Lisa and Mike are wonderful hosts. Communication was easy. The home was so clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple. Lisa was so gracious in providing us with real farm to table eggs from her chickens which we combined with a steak we grilled in the provided bbq. We loved our first trip to the Black Hills and intend to come back to further expand our explorations of the area. And we’ll definitely be staying here again!

This was, without question, the most outstanding vacation rental we have ever experienced. Tucked away on a private drive in the woods, the home is surrounded by beautiful granite formations and towering pine trees. It is furnished comfortably, and the decorator did a wonderful job choosing pieces that complement the natural surroundings. Everything was perfect.The highlight of our stay was sitting on the deck and looking at Mount Rushmore through the binoculars thoughtfully provided by our hosts. To say the house is well stocked would be an understatement. Beyond every essential you could possibly need, there was coffee, seasonings, and an incredible assortment of condiments and other thoughtful extras.Lisa and Mike are wonderful hosts. Lisa personally showed us through the house when we arrived, gave us her cell number in case we needed anything, and assured us they would respect our privacy and not impose on our time.The home, the setting, the thoughtful amenities, and the gracious hospitality made this an unforgettable stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

My husband & I had a wonderful stay at this rental. It had everything we needed for our 6 nights there. It also has amazing views. You can see Mt. Rushmore in the distance. Mike & Lisa live on the property, right next to the rental, but do not invade your space unless you need them. They are very friendly, even gave us some eggs while we were there. They readily answered any questions, gave us a quick tour of the property when we arrive. You are free to walk/hike their property. The property is close to Keystone & all the major sites in the area. Easy to get around. There is peace & quiet here. So relaxing to sit out on the balcony/deck & look at Mt. Rushmore, listen to the birds.We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It is a great place to stay.
