JUST LISTED - Cozy Beach Cottage (pet friendly)

Cozy beach bungalow located inside the award-winning Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Spend you days at the one-mile-long ocean front beach, swimming at the pool with water slides, lazy river and area for younger children. Next to the pool area is an arcade, indoor pool, and family recreation area. Take a walk, ride bikes, or ride a golf cart to the three lakes for fishing, putt-putt golf, or outdoor dining at the Sandy’s eat and greet.

This cozy bungalow offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, kitchen and eating area. Also included is a washer and dryer located inside of the outdoor shed.

House includes Kitchen items for cooking such as, pots and pans, plate sets, utensils, and coffee pots, Toaster, crock-pot, Keurig, iron board and iron, hangers, two smart tvs with spectrum cable.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

Sheets for 2 queen beds, and two twin beds, towels, washclothes and a bathmat, paper products.

No smoking inside of house of any kind- doing so will be an automatic hold of security deposit!!!

Very cute cottage. The amenities were as described. The host was very helpful . We enjoyed our stay. I would suggest upgrading the mattresses. Very soft. We found them uncomfortable.

So so disappointing! Nothing like the pictures! Dirty, smelly, chipped furniture, uneven floors. Doors difficult to open. The deck was filthy and the deck furniture had stain and mold on it. So so outdated!We had to go pay for another place to stay as we would never consider staying there and the owner refused to refund our money!Do not rent this !!!

This is a great house and I highly recommend it. My boyfriend and I stayed there with our dog and we really enjoyed the location and the pine trees that surround the house. The house was clean and very presentable.

Cozy little affordable cottage in a fantastic park. The home definitely needs some updates and is probably getting past the point of simple repairs and into more drastic remodelling needed. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, the top bunk is best for I would say 6-7yrs and younger. Couch was okay as a back-up bed for the teenager! Having tvs in the bedroom and living room was nice as we could all relax when we wanted to in our own space. Overall, it was a cozy stay and it’s evident that the homeowners have made a strong effort to make it a comfy stay!

The unit is in serious need of maintenance. The only door in the unit that would stay shut was the entrance door. A missing blind in the kitchen allowed for a line of sight view into the bathroom. The ceiling in the kitchen area was only about 6' tall. The living room couch/futon was broken and couldn't be converted to a bed. The window in the bedroom wouldn't stay open nor was there a screen to keep out bugs. Would not rent at any price.

Perfect for a quick get away!

Adorable cottage in a quiet area during our stay! It was our first time at ocean lakes and the owner called me to tell me how everything works before our trip! I really appreciated that! Beds were comfy, everything was perfect!

3/10 – Very disappointingUnfortunately, this stay was disappointing both because of the condition of the house and because of how our family’s situation was handled.I booked this home for our yearly August beach trip with my 65-year-old mom, who had been battling cancer for the past 5 years. I specifically chose this home because it was one level and had a walk-in shower, which would have been perfect because she had become too weak to get in her own camper. Before our trip, my mom was hospitalized with hopes that she would recover and return home in time for our beach trip. I stayed in contact with the host and kept them updated. Sadly, she required emergency surgery that lasted more than 6 hours. I asked the host about a refund or even a partial refund due to the medical emergency, but was told the cancellation policy applied. Tragically, just days after surgery, my mom passed away in the hospital.Our reservation was Saturday-Saturday, but instead of taking our planned vacation, I was planning my mother’s funeral and dealing with the loss of my best friend.I understand policies exist for a reason, but I was extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion or empathy during such an unimaginable situation, especially after paying 2,500 for the home.The house itself was also not as pictured. It had a noticeable smell, damaged walls, doors that did not shut properly, uneven floors, broken blinds etc.. will not stay again.

Great trip!

We loved our a stay! Super quiet area. A little far to walk to the beach but would be perfect with a bike or golf cart. House would perfect size for 2 adults and 2 small children.

The host was kind and messaged us that we could get in early. I had sent several messages over the stay or before that was not acknowledged. I will say the host accepted the booking within 24 hours so I absolutely have grace for minimal communication but would have wanted more. The house did its job and was safe, reliable place to stay. The house is well used as the walls, bathroom, and appliances show. These things were not noticeable in the booking photos.

Christmas at the beach

The community was very nice. All the neighbors that were staying in the vicinity were very friendly and welcoming. House was very clean and very quiet. Never had such a relaxing time.

It was decent for 2 people, the couch and bed were uncomfortable but it was a cozy little spot. Did see some ants but I sprayed the counter down and wiped it down with cleaning spray so we didn’t have a problem after that
