The hosts, Miki and Franco were absolutely wonderful. They spent time showing us not only everything in the apartment but telling us all about good restaurants, markets, etc in the neighborhood. The apartment was very large and had absolutely every we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone, it's great!

The apartment is amazing! Miki and Franco are incredible hosts - taking the time to be sure we were comfortable, giving us restaurant recommendations, and all the details about the area. The location is in a very busy part of Florence, but the bedroom window is soundproof and makes sleeping in the bustling part of town very easy. It is within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions in Florence, and you can also walk a few more blocks to more local places. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Details that meant a lot to us (American couple traveling to Italy for the first time):-Walking distance to everything we needed-Elevator (I have mobility issues)-Washing machine and drying racks-Step in shower (with great water pressure!)-Comfortable bed and quiet area to sleep-Coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and stove-Air conditioner to sleep comfortably-Security of building and apartment and areaThank you Miki and Franco for being such responsive, communicative, and gracious hosts! We loved our time in Italy and you and your beautiful apartment were a big part of that!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Prisco apartment in the heart of Florence. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the high ceilings and the windows overlooking the streets below. Everything was so close by, and walking to the important sites was never further than about 20 minutes, usually far less. Another great feature of the apartment is the proximity to many restaurants, cafés, coffee, shops, and a supermarket. Franco and Micki were terrific hosts, and gave us a helpful and thorough briefing at check-in. We didn’t really need to contact them after check-in as everything was in good order. I’d highly recommend the Prisco apartment, as these accommodations are likely to be superior to the small rooms and the high cost of Florence hotels. When I made the reservation, I was a bit concerned about not having a restaurant on site, but this was not an issue, and in fact, it was far nicer to have a full kitchen at our disposal, with many restaurants close by. Thanks to our great host for the wonderful stay in Florence!

Property was large spacious apartment in the center of Florence. Was close to and in walking distance to just about everything I wanted to do. Franco and Miki could not have been more gracious, kind, helpful hosts. The first night I went to buzz someone up and accidentally locked myself out of the apartment and Franco had to come back and open the door for me and was very gracious about it. If the door shuts it locks automatically just FYI even though it has a bolt lock. Also, I was in Florence at the hottest time possible in August during what was considered a heat wave in Europe. There is air-conditioning in the apartment, but it is not like the US because there are restrictions on electricity use specifically air-conditioning in Florence. I found it a little difficult to cool it down at night if you don’t close the shutters during the day while you’re out. This would be a non-issue any other time of the year. Overall, really great experience. Excellent neighborhood felt safe walking around everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and bakery nearby. Overall had a really good time and would recommend..

Great location in the heart of downtown. Couldn’t be better.Cleanliness and amenities were perfect.Bedroom was well sound-proofed but main living area seemed to pick up every sound from the street below but this was a minor inconvenience.The owners met us at the property and helped pre-book a taxi when we left at 5am on last day.Would definitely stay here again when we return to Firenze.

The property was amazing. For Florence standards it was huge. Location was also perfect. In a very safe area and a very safe building. We have stayed in Florence many times in VRBO‘s. And this was the best one by far yet. The best part about this apartment are the owners Niki and Franco. They tell you what time to meet them there, and they are exactly on time. Then they take you up sit you down and tell you all about this apartment and everything you would ever need to know about the area. As I said, it was a very large apartment and the bedroom alone was the size of the other apartments we’ve stayed at in Florence. We will be back ASAP.

Our stay was a great one. Location was near to everything we needed. Our laundry area was just outside our door in a small room. Great restaurant, pastry/coffee shop just a few steps from our apartment, also, a wine window. Our visit was late November and the outdoor decorations were so pretty. Also visited a Christmas market and saw street performers in front of the Duomo…..fabulous!!!

Great central location

The property is situated perfectly and the suite is a very nice size in a beautiful old building. The owning couple is adorable.

Florence apartment

We enjoyed our stay at Prisco. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect and it was great to have such a spacious place. Lots of restaurants nearby. We could walk everywhere.

Great Location

This apt is very large and convenient to almost everything you want. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. (The stove/oven has some issues which need to be fixed )

Los Angeles Couple

A large, light, quiet apartment within a short walking distance of everything one wants to see in the old section of Florence and the train station. A big, workable kitchen, adequate bathroom, comfortable furnishings. The owners were very helpful - providing us with restaurant, travel and shopping information.

Prisco is great place in great location

Advert is quite accurate in all counts and even understates how this large apt. is in a great location for sights and events, with excellent restaurants and stores and the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence 1/4 block away; bring earplugs for sleeping because of area popularity; owners Miki and Franco are such nice and helpful people; I will definitely stay at Prisco again when I return to Florence

Imagine the absolute perfect spot in Firenze. This is it. 16th century apartment with space for our entire family, close to all the action and amazing food close by. Without the fabolous owners and beautiful home, our trip would not have been even close to the success it was. Enjoy and tell them the Mertz family will be back every year or two!

Highly recommended

Great location, close to everything; extremely nice and helpful owners; charming, clean, and well equipped apartment, with little kitchen. The only problem we had was that the living room is not sound insulated as well as the bedroom, so it was harder to sleep well there.

Managers make the apartment!!!!!

This is a fantastic property....the apartment is wonderful and the location is amazing. Best of all are the managers, who are there for you 100%. Franco and Mikki are the BEST, and will help you with anything and everything. They make this apartment the only place to stay in Florence.

The property was beautiful, cozy, practical, functional, clean, and very conveniently located. All the supplies we needed for everyday use and comfortable living were abundantly provided. We loved our stay in Florence at Prisco. Franco and Mikki were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with the check in process and explaining the workings of the apartment and gave us very helpful recommendations for the city and neighborhood. They were very responsive when we had an issue with our key. The apartment is in the perfect location and is an easy walk to EVERYTHING! The apartment is very well appointed and very comfortable. We highly recommend the Prisco apartment!

Simply awesome!

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is large and comfortable and convenient to many things. There is a grocery store about a block away, an ATM across the street, a bakery a few doors down and a travel agency across the street in case you need any help. We had them book our train tickets so we didn't have to buy them at the station. It was an easy walk to the station. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Florence.

Perfect Italy Location

Prisco was the perfect Italian apartment for us. Very spacious and a fantastic location! Close to everything we needed. The train was a very close and easy walk for day trips. We were given clear instructions for how to use everything in the apartment and everything went perfectly. I read about noise, but we had no problem at all. The bedroom was very dark and quiet. I had never rented an apartment while away, but this was definitely the way to go. I highly recommend Italy Perfect and Prisco!

Old World Charm in a Great Location

A friend and I stayed in the Prisco apartment for 4 nights. The apartment is huge and decorated with Old World charm. The hosts are very gracious and gave us lots of information about the apartment and nearby attractions. There is a small collection of business cards from recommended restaurants; the ones we could get into (it was Easter and very crowded) were excellent. There is no street noise in the bedroom but it was sometimes loud for the person sleeping on the bed in the living room. Everything you need--small kitchen, washing machine, wireless internet--is available in this unit. It is also within walking distance of most of the attractions. I also had questions from the rental agency, Italy Perfect and couldn't be happier with the service I received. I recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Spacious one bedroom, great location, but check to fine print.

This was a wonderful one bedroom apartment located in a perfect part of Florence. Close to everything the apartment is very spacious. Incredibly large bedroom. Comfortable living space and very nice kitchen and bathroom, the owners, Marco and Mikki are very responsive. There is a great bakery and restaurant just two doors down from the property. The only issue I have is that in addition to what you will pay for rent. You also have to pay additional electricity for the space. Which is mentioned in the fine print. So you need to read, everything about this property carefully. It wouldn’t be an issue in the winter, spring or fall. But, in the summer when air conditioning is needed you might pay between $100 and $200 extra euros for a weekly stay. Other than that, the property is exceptional.

A Home Away From Home in the Heart of Florence

We had an amazing stay at this Florence Vrbo! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and gracious, especially when we had trouble finding the apartment (totally on us, we were just tired from traveling!). They patiently guided us in, then spent time walking us through everything: how to use the air conditioner, stove, washing machine, and even how to check the electricity meter. They also shared helpful tips for getting around the city. So thoughtful and kind!Do note that the check-in process is very thorough and takes about 45 minutes, so plan that into your schedule. Also, there’s an additional utility charge. Ours came to about 5 euros/day, running the AC in the evenings due to the summer heat. Definitely reasonable and well worth it for the comfort.The apartment itself is fantastic! Incredibly spacious for two people and could easily accommodate more. It’s filled with gorgeous natural light and truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable: we loved the ritzy coffee shop downstairs and the wine window right across the street.We cannot recommend this place enough for a short getaway or a longer stay in Florence. It was the perfect base to explore the city and come home to something special each day. Would absolutely return!
