The cabin was very cramped for my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 small kids). I miss read the listing and thought the beds were queens. In reality, they are doubles which makes sleeping in pairs very tight. There are only 3 chairs at the table. The towels were clean but some were less absorbent than others which caused us to go through a lot of towels. We struggled because there wasn't a place to hang them to dry except over the shower or the back of chairs. Our biggest challenge/issue was the fact that the walls are open air. When any light was turned on, the whole cabin lit up. We struggled with the balancing lights on/off for sleeping. When people got up during the night to use the bathroom, turning on the bathroom light lit up the space above the bed rooms which caused other people to wake up. My youngest had a night where she refused to turn a lamp off which prevent other people from having the darkness necessary for sleep. The lack of full walls also prevented any dapper to the noises made during more activities (bathroom use, conversations, showers, TV, electronics).

Beautiful cabin and wonderful host!

Cabin was more beautiful in person. The directions are much easier than we thought. Highly recommend!

Captain was easy to find with iPhone maps, Easy check in process day or night. Just punch the cold. Loved it

Lovely cabin in the woods

Really enjoyed my stay at the cabin, it was just as advertised. Beautiful log home, nestled in the woods, easy to access, pretty close to hiking in Big South Fork. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Beds were double beds, very comfortable, sheets and towels supplied were fine. Would definitely stay here again.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the property. I just wish I would have had more time to stay. I very much liked the uniqueness of the inside of the cabin as well as the outside with the wrap around porch. Also liked the quietness of the area and the relaxing sound of the bubbling stream beside the cabin. I will definitely be staying here again.

Review

I would have given 5 stars for our stay but the cabin water pressure is fairly low and made showering a little slow and the bath towels were very small.The cabin is very cute and very quiet. The location was good for our purpose. The wrap around porch was nice and rocking chairs were comfortable.Thank you very much

30th Anniversary get away

This was a very nice quiet and peaceful place. We loved the wrap around porch. The only issue we had was the refrigerator. It leaked water on the inside of the refrigerator.

Family Reunion

a group of 3 stayed the first night, arrived very late and didn't spend much time at the cabin. a group of girl cousins stayed the second night, again arrived late and left early. enjoyed having the extra beds for our family reunion.

2 Night Stay

Nice area to stay while at Big South Fork. Furnishings a bit dated but relatively clean. Bathroom did not have soap or shampoo and towels were very old. We were not able to connect to Wi-Fi with the code provided and therefore was not able to contact host without phone service Could not lock door from the inside

Property and cabin was very clean. Love the quiet and peacefulness and huge wrap around porch to sit on. Beautiful place. There are Two bedrooms with a full sized bed. We only had 4 people but in the description it says it sleeps 6 people but there is only the two beds and the couch is not a pull out sofa so, the cabin does not sleep 6.

We were disappointed that the cabin we reserved had not been cleaned. We had to drive to a location where we had cell service to contact the host. She put us in another cabin which was comparable, but it was not secluded like the one we reserved. The porch on the second cabin had not been cleaned for the season but the host offered to come and clean it for us. Once we got through the check in process, we enjoyed our time there. The cabin’s back porch was in the woods and very relaxing. The cabin was clean, well equipped, comfortable and inviting. The ac/heat worked great, as did the fridge. The circle where the cabins are located is beautiful and private.

Was our best stop

Some reason it was tricky to find . I can't blame it on the renter by no means. Gps was at fault . But when we found the place it was a wonderful surprise beautiful and clean . Had everything that was advertised beautiful location . Wish we didn't have to move on because we were happy in the moment.
