Gunter's Getaway is located 1/2 mile to Historic Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, Brushy Mountain Pit Stop and Grill and Windrock riding trails. Gunter’s comfortably sleeps 16 people with 8 beds/5 bedrooms- There is also a newly restocked kitchen, laundry room, 2 newly renovated full baths. There is a spacious living area with 75" tv w/ Dish Network. Entertainment room provides NEW pool table, NEW Pac-Man arcade game, dart board and another TV.

Large gravel parking lot, gas grill - Come check out our NEWLY BUILT fire pit swing set! Hang out after a long day of riding!

Located 1/2 mile from Brushy Mtn State Penn, trails 26/27 and Brushy Mtn Pit Stop. Petros is sxs friendly! Ride straight from Gunter’s to the trails!

Great place to stay, super comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed, and location was great for our Jeep Jamboree for the crew had with us.

Everything we needed for the week, truly a home away from home. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers, and a great place to ride Windrock from!!!

Great place to hang out with friends, plenty of room for everyone, well-furnished kitchen and the location is perfect to enjoy the Windrock area.Would happily stay here again in the future!

Great place to ride in and ride out of Windrock! Perfect location for riding. Great parking for trucks and trailers, Very clean and lots of room in the house.

Great place to stay

House was clean and spacious! Loved being so close to trails and local attractions. Will definitely stay here again! Got to know a local guy and he was very entertaining and knowledgeable of the area.

Great Place to Stay

We visit Windrock 2-3 times a year and have stayed many different places. This place was amazing for our large group of 12 people. It was clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Plus the beds were super comfortable which is necessary after riding all day. Close to Brushy Mountain State Prison, Ginger’s Deli, Marathon Gas station and Dollar General.

Great place to stay.

We were there for a wedding. The house was very clean and inviting. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and will stay her again if the occasion arises.

Great Spot For Large Group

Nice place to stay and ride Windrock or TWRA trails. Minutes from Brushy Mountain Prison for food and something to do besides riding trails. House was very clean. Parking was ample for 4 trucks with trailers and all the machines.

The property was amazing and super close to the trails. We were able to drive our machines to the gas station down the road and to lunch and dinner at the Bent Fork. The property is in the perfect location and had plenty of parking for all of our trucks and trailer. Also was nice having a water house out back to rinse off the machines at the end of the night.

We did not use it for its common purpose of housing people with side by sides riding the area. Grandson got married close by and the place worked perfectly. Easy contact with Joni. Place was very clean. Some reviews gave the game room a bad rating, but it was perfect for our grandchildren to use. The electric dart board did not work, but could still play and keep score manually. Just not used to plastic tipped darts! We really weren't in the building much other than to sleep and shower, but when we were there, it accommodated us very well. We enjoyed it and recommend it to others.

Perfect Location

This place is exactly as advertised if not better, very clean and plenty of room. We stayed here 3 nights and rode straight from the house to Windrock and TWRA trails. The host Joni and Ashley are great and are very responsive to any questions we had. We will be back next year.

Family Windrock ride

Nice location for riding Windrock. Gunters was clean and well maintained. Host was organized and responsive. You wont be disappointed.

Great for large grouo

There were 10 of us. Each couple had their own room. Kitchen was well stocked. Host left plenty of soaps and toilet paper Beds were good. Plenty of parking and easy to get the 50’ trailer onto property and room for unloading sxs’s.

Comfortable and close to Windrock trails

This is our third time traveling to ride Windrock. This is our first stay at this particular home. The owners communicated very well. The home was clean, was welcoming, and had small details, such as menus for local restaurants. We had a group of ten adults, and everyone fit comfortably.

Very kid friendly, lots of activities in game room, but vending machine was un plugged and leaking, dart game was unplugged. Loved the kitchen! There were ants by the sink not that big of a deal. Wish there were tvs in every room, but also no big deal.

Weekend Getaway

Great place to stay! Fun house and super close to Brushy for the Blackberry Smoke concert. Only suggestion is to put mirrors in the bedrooms. We had 10 girls sharing two mirrors and they were located in the bathroom so that made getting ready a little challenging. Other than that, it was perfect! Would definitely stay here again.

Big time at Windrock Park NYE 23-24

Had a great time at Gunther’s Getaway in Petros. Had everything we needed. Loved the space. Only one complaint. The pool table is a little wobbly. Other then that it was a perfect weekend.

Great Spacious house

Nice property set up. All hosts were easy to work with. House game room needs some maintence. No pool sticks with tips and no darts for dart board. Other than that.. great place. Would go back!!!! . 10/10
