A few points are worth answering directly. The bathroom smell has become rare, almost a non-issue, since we replaced some of the older piping, so it shouldn't trouble a future stay. The street is a lively, central one — we can't quiet the traffic outside, but the Bosphorus view comes with that setting. On the stairs, there's no lift to the second floor; it's a climb for some and easier for others, common in İstanbul's older buildings, and it's noted in the listing. We're sorry the check-in felt rushed and the TV wasn't explained — our team is always glad to come back and walk guests through the equipment.
