RECENTLY RENOVATED in Spring 2016! Enjoy the brand-new kitchen and well-appointed features of this spacious condo. This one-bedroom/one-bathroom unit is split across two levels for more room to spread out and enjoy the delightful accents of this unique unit. The first floor contains a full kitchen along with an adjacent living area, a synthetic log-burning fireplace, and a balcony. Upstairs in the loft, this unit has a bedroom and full bathroom that looks down onto the living area. This unit is an easy walk to the indoor pool and game room!Â

Wonderful stay

Everything was as advertised. Everyone was friendly and professional. We even had a situation where high winds and rain/snow knocked out power in most of Deep Creek for hours. A quiet evening in front of the fireplace works

Very eclectic interior and design. Not a bad thing because after absorbing the differentiation, my girlfriend and I had a great time with it. There is a record player with at least 50 records from the 70's and 80's, cassette tapes, DVD's, etc. We played records both days we were there which brought a cool vibe. We also counted over 50 mirrors so the owner apparently has a mirror fetish. And there are more oriental rugs than anyone could think would fit in an apartment of it's size. The place overall probably could use a modern overhaul but as stated earlier, the design was part of the allure. Also, the fireplace has no logs and was inoperable which was a disappointment because we wanted to enjoy a wine by the fireplace. The view of the lake was great and was within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. There is an actual "beach" there which was nice and we were able to hang out there on a beautiful day. Overall, we loved our stay, made great memories and would recommend. However, the entire complex (Wisp) itself could use a little updating and cleaning. The current condition may not necessarily deter us from staying there again but I'm just being honest. It was my first trip to Deep Creek and my girlfriend's first time there in 20 years. Definitely made great memories!!

Wonderful property; unit not so much

The Condo property is nice and well attended to. As soon as you walk into the unit itself there is a horrible smell. We assumed it was cleaning smells. As the days passed we figured out it was the fireplace that smelled of old burnt wood. The unit is cluttered with so much stuff (mirrors everywhere, pictures everywhere the was no mirror, wall to wall throw rugs) not a foot of the place didn’t have something filling the small space. All of this stuff absorbs smoke when the fireplace is used. There is no place to put our belongings. In the kitchen, the back splash behind the stove and sink is dirty and needs a good cleaning. The outside patio is in horrible condition. The tile is cracked and the caulk is loose. There are weeds growing on the patio which indicates it has not been serviced in a long time. It appears as though the people above are sweeping their patio dirt down onto this unit. The air conditioner located on the patio is so loud you cannot sit and have a conversation. The beach on the property is a good amenity except every air conditioning unit in the building is running non-stop and the noise is very loud and disturbing. We would not stay here again.
