I am an open minded person, world traveler, and friendly host. The house offers a quiet meditative reprieve. Enjoy the built-in temple feel, gardens for hanging out in, and full kitchen to cook in. Close to parks, and downtown Minneapolis. Organic lifestyle, conscious living, and soul inspiring individuals are welcome. Sorry, there is not a TV in the house. Ideal for extended stays. Two cats.

This is wonderful place to stay. Roomy, extremely comfortable, a beautiful, artistic house and a laid-back atmosphere. I came when the weather was cold and I was warm on the chilly nights. Then it got hot out but there's an overhead fan that kept me cool. The kitchen is spacious, immaculate and homey. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My host was wonderful! Room and house was very clean. The area is great and surrounded by so many good bars and food joints. They also have friendly cats here! You won’t regret staying here.

Nice Place For a Solo Traveler

Catharine has a nice room set up for guests, and was very welcoming. The location was very convenient for driving to event locations around Minneapolis.

Lovely place and kind host!

I had a lovely stay with a very kind host at this place. It was quiet and clean and had most everything I needed. However, there is no air conditioning, which made it somewhat difficult to sleep during a heatwave. Everything else was perfect!

Quiet space offered by respectful host

Easy check-in and check-out. Pleasant bedroom adjacent to bathroom with more than adequate kitchen access. Safe neighborhood. Privacy honored by host but with as much interaction as desired by guest. I would return and recommend to others.

First timer. Beautiful 120+ y/o home. Kate was a wonderful and interesting host. Being a shared home, in the 7 days we saw her 4 times. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the garden sitting area very much. We were not around enough to use the first floor area (LR & Kitchen). I believe it had AC but it wasn't needed as the weather was wonderful. My only recommendations would be to put in a good shower curtain, glaze the lower window in the tub/shower, and a little WD40 or adjustment to the bathroom door so the latch doesn't stick. Would I go back? Definitely.

Cozy room in comfortable house

Cute house with a garden in the back. Quiet neighborhood with a relaxing vibe, just minutes from downtown. Great coffee house and Latin restaurant within walking distance. Comfy bed, sitting room, large kitchen. Just what I needed for the week!
