It is a combination of luxury and privacy. The cabin sits on just under 3 acres with plenty of outdoor area for sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful view of the mountain.

The family can spend countless hours indoors playing games, sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds of nature, or sitting in the hammock and reading your favorite novel. Maybe enjoy a game of horseshoes or corn hole if you are feeling competitive. In the summer, there is also a neighborhood swimming pool open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Natural sunlight streams into the living space through floor to ceiling A-frame windows, with plenty of seating for the entire family. Turn on your gas fireplace and unwind after a long, fun filled day of making memories with loved ones. Perhaps a soak in the 6 person hot tub on the deck, or enjoy some downtime in one of the jacuzzi tubs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all cookware and utensils needed for all of your home cooked meals your family desires.

The cabin has sleeping capacity for 15, guests have a choice of two Kings, two queens, a pull-out twin couch, 2 regular couches and a 3 twin bunk beds (6 twin beds).

The Haven of Rest is a beautiful cabin that perfectly accommodated our group of 9. The kids bedroom and play area under the stairs was too cute! My kids loved it! The arcade machine, pool table, and hot tub were also big hits. I personally loved the jetted tub in the master suite after a long day on my feet. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions I had along the process (first experience with Vrbo) and so helpful. This beautiful cabin can’t be beat! We will definitely be back!

The Haven Of Rest Was the best!!! We love the cabin my sister loves to drive the mountains me on the other hand so scared so going up the mountain was an adventure. 10 out of 10.

Our family of 12, with our children and grandchildren, had a wonderful week, July 5-12th! Our cabin home provided many opportunities for connecting relationships through the dining table inside, the various table settings outdoors on the on the expansive deck, the arcade, cornhole, hot tub, pool table, and community swimming pool. We spent time cooking together, several enjoyed drawing and painting together inside and on the deck. The space provided some alone time when desired. Activities our family enjoyed were Dollywood Water Park, taking a 4.5 mile hike in the the Smokies, driving through Cade's Cove, celebrating a meal out for a birthday and upcoming 50th wedding anniversary at Boss Hogg. A couple bears ambled through during the week. We appreciated each couple having a bedroom and bath, the bunk bed for our grandchildren, and futon.Watching the Soccer World Cup together was an unexpected joy.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain house! The home was very clean and well-maintained, and the owners communicated with us clearly and promptly throughout our entire stay, which made everything seamless.The house was fully equipped with everything we needed—we ended up cooking most of our meals at home and found the kitchen to be stocked and easy to use. Our kids had a great time enjoying the games, exploring the property, and taking advantage of the community amenities.The location was ideal for our family—just a short drive to Dollywood and about 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store, which made outings and stocking up very convenient. And the hot tub was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day!

Beautiful cabin in a great location! Everything was wonderful. We were a large group and the cabin is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home as well. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

This place was an absolute dream!!! Amazingly clean and well kept, perfectly secluded, and spacious for everyone! Sitting high atop the mountain in the Gated Shagbark Community is the perfect Cabin that seems far from town but is only a few miles away! If u want an amazing place to stay then look no further. Has everything you need to stay in and relax!! PS the Bear came right through the back yard!!

Ripken Pigeon Forge Week-Long Stay

Two families, 11 total (6 adults, 5 kids). Beautiful views, plenty of space, ~25-30 minute drive to Ripken Park. Would stay again.

Amazingly beautiful

This place was just perfect! Everything we could have needed or wanted was available. Only a short drive into town and all the nearby attractions. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely come back again!

The cabin was beautiful and so spacious! The kids loved having their own area downstairs, especially the cute playhouse under the steps. The host was super nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

A MUST STAY!

This is the BEST house that we’ve ever stayed in!! We’ve always had one or multiple things not right in the houses we’ve stayed in, but not this one! It was spotless which is rare and the furnishings were tasteful and beautiful. The views are to die for. Just gorgeous. It is a must stay!

Family Vacation

Many different family members converged here for a week of relaxation and boy was it. The views are breathtaking and it's so peaceful. They have everything you need there, so just pack a car full of groceries and you will be set for a restful week away. I would definitely recommend and like to go back. The owner was very helpful and responsive.

Haven of Rest 😎

The property was in great shape and we had a blast as a family. We were graced with a male and a few female turkeys most of the week and a visit from a bear one night while eating dinner on the deck. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a stay in the mountains. If we are looking for a place in the area in the future we will try to be repeat customers!

My wife (Corinne) and I are from Tennessee. I grew up in Sevier County and she is from the Nashville area. We love meeting and hosting people and spending relaxing weekends at the cabin. We also have a historic Victorian house we renovated in Knoxville.

We love the beautiful sunsets from this cabin and the comfort of this neighborhood. We also love the safety of having a 24 hour security gate. About 50% of the cabins in the neighborhood are long term private residences, so it creates a more comfortable local feel vs a big touristy complex.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The cabin was built by a family over the course of 4 years. The husband loved designing the place and picking out different woods for the stairs, floor, doors, window casings, etc. He was very passionate about building the place to last and have character. The cabin has great insulation and so much peacefulness about it and the property.
