This property is located 4 miles from Gunstock Ski area in the heart of the Lakes Region. It is a four season destination. Be as active as you want or nestle by the fire. Some of things to do include water sports of all kind, golfing, skiing, hiking, crass country skiing, snowmobiling etc.


Located in the heart of the Lakes Region Just 25 minutes off interstate 93 Minutes to Gunstock Mountain and Lake Winnipesaukee. This secluded home has an in-ground pool and expansive decks for those that want stay home and enjoy the breathtaking view. Gunstock Mountain has skiing, tubing, cross country skiing and snow shoeing just 4 miles away. Lake Winnipesaukee has boating, jet skiing, fishing, swimming etc. just minutes away. This home has an open floor plan, massive field stone fireplace and is a great place to gather with family and friends. With two matching master suites it is ideal for two families sharing vacation time.

Great place with a great view. The home was clean. Host was very responsive. Upgraded bedding is suggested but overall this is a quality rental.

My family had a wonderful time in this spacious house with ample beds, bathrooms, pool, pool table, hot tub, games and beautiful view. The weather was perfect the one full day we were there for the outdoor pool just after Labor Day that the host kept open for us by extending his closing of it til after our stay. He also answered all our questions before we arrived. A very memorable stay.

Had a marvelous time from August 15, 2026 to August 22, 2026.Our family of 10, that included six adults and four children, thoroughly enjoyed everything about the propertyThe pool with the waterslide was a big hit. Everyone loved the hot tub. We had wonderful evening fires at the fire pit.From this location, we had a fantastic view of Lake Winnipesaukee and the mountains to the north of itIt was a great location for day trip trips to gunstock Mountain, Meredith, Wolfboro, and GuildfordThe sleeping spaces were ample and comfortable. The dining and kitchen spaces were ideal for a group of 10The weather was fantastic with only brief showers on several nights overnightWe would definitely rent the lone tree Lodge againThe only concern was the clothes dryer. It could only handle small loads and would take extensive time to dry thoroughly.Perhaps there is a need to clean out the dryer vent to the outside. The lint filter was kept clean.We are very grateful to the owner for allowing us to rent his very appealing property and he was very easy to deal with

The view and location were amazing. It is so family friendly and perfect for our family/friends getaway! The added play ground with sandbox was key. The pool was so much fun.

Lone Tree Lodge was the perfect house for our girls weekend away. The entire grounds was so well kept, the pool was clean & not cold at all (even on our first rainy day) and the inside of the house was impeccable. So cozy & inviting! So much room for all of us too!

The Lone Tree Lodge was perfect for gathering with our family. The home is spacious and had everything we could want for a wonderful summer week together. The Lodge had everything we needed for cooking and dining together. The beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a hit as was the pool table. The view is stunning and the property private and quiet. We enjoyed hiking Mt Major just down the road and kayaking at Alton Bay. Thank you so much to the hosts for a wonderful stay!

Great place for two families!

This is our second trip to this spot! The two identical masters are an ideal set up for two families on vacation. The location is great with proximity to a lot, but also feels like a true getaway. We absolutely loved the pool in the house was comfortable for all 10 of us. Our kids already want to come back!

Multi-Family Generation Summer Vacation

This was our third time staying at the Lone Tree Lodge with family and friends. We had great weather and got to take advantage of the pool almost every day. The kids loved being able to hang out in the basement living room watching movies. Thank you for another great stay!

we hiked, went sightseeing, but enjoyed just spending time at wonderful home the most.. 4 young kids, 7 adults something for everyone, pool and hot tub a hit! highly recommend!
