Hammerhead's Hideaway is an oceanfront perfection! Bring the whole family to this great beach retreat with lots of room for fun and relaxation. This 3 level home has plenty of space to be together or spread out. Centrally located in the heart of Nags Head, Hammerhead's gives you quick access to so many activities like parasailing, jet skiing, Putt Putt, adventure courses, shopping and dining...that is if you ever want to leave the house or the beach! The views from this house are amazing!. Dine outdoors overlooking the ocean from your balcony, then take a walk on the beach from your private beach access. Relax with a dip in the pool or hot tub. Pool heat -$400 per week (FREE 4/23-5/14)

Great location. The cottage was well equipped. The extras for babies were greatly appreciated. Melissa was quick to respond and answered questions/provided assistance when needed. I would highly recommend.

Oceanfront location was unbeatable! Sunrises are worth getting up for at 6:45 Our family enjoyed the short (frequent) walks to Nags Head Pier/bar Our German shepherd enjoyed the top deck. The gate was helpful in keeping her contained. The grassy front yard was a bonus when it was too windy to walk her on the beach. We had terrible 35 mph winds the last 3 days and had to stay indoors but the stocked game cabinet and pool table made it fun. We heartily endorse Blue Moon Beach Grill—delicious! Thank you for having us!

The house is excellent, and we appreciated that a highchair, portacrib, and baby gates were included. The pool area could use some tlc, and there were no bbq grill tools. We used the public access stairs to the beach which is next door. This was much easier!

The house is exactly what we were looking for our family vacation with our adult children and their spouses and grandkids. The view of the water and beach was stunning and the pool gave us many hours of fun. We made several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We definitely want to return.

It was a fantastic property large enough for a family get together to celebrate my 80th birthday.Little snafu at check with the cleaning company but Melissa was on top of it immediately even bought us a dinner which was spectacularI don't think it would be possible to find a more responsible host and it really made Our celebration Perfect.I think we're going to try again next year

Overall the stay was amazing! The views and access to the beach were incredible! There are a LOT of stairs and only a hill from the landing at the top of the dune down to the beach, which made it hard for older guests to make it to and from the ocean. The pool was great, but got sandy so easily. The hot tub was a nice after dinner treat. One thing that disappointed us was the lack of supplies around the house. There was a welcome bag, with some things to get you started, but we had to buy trash bags, paper products, dishwasher tabs, foil, soaps and more to accommodate our needs. She did mention in the welcome letter we would need to bring some things, but we ended up buying a lot for the house. She was very responsive when the smoke alarm batteries died and had someone over to fix them quickly. Overall we would stay again!

Loved the location! Really nice big house on the beach, lots of space for everyone in the home. Some issues were not enough couch space for all of us in living room and some of the home wasn’t completely cleaned. Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the pool/hottub! Thank you for everything!

Fabulous vacatio

This house has it ALL…comfortable common areas, complete kitchen, good number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had the best vacation using the pool and the access to the beach couldn’t be better. I strongly recommend.

Beach getaway

This was the best vacation we have ever had! So relaxing to be by the ocean and listening to the sound of the waves. The house is absolutely fantastic. Everything was easy as far as communicating Melissa. Our dog loved it too!We didn’t want to leave but I’m sure we will return!! Thank you Melissa!!

Perfect

Cant beat the location. Right on the beach with a brand new walkway feom the house, we walked to the ice cream shop across the street & there were so many options close by. Melissa was a great host who made sure we had everything we needed & were comfortable. The view from the top deck cant be beat! Clean, spacious & perfect.

Awesome spot at the beach!

Very clean house with enough rooms to house my very large family. Prime access to the beach and super easy check in and check out process. The renter Melissa was super quick to respond and very kind in helping accommodate us. Would rent with her again 😄

The house was wonderful! There were a couple insignificant issues when arriving and the owner, Melissa, was so quick to remedy the issues. I've never stayed somewhere that the owner was so attentive!

The weather was not our friend. Melissa was great. She offered us additional days at the end of our stay for no cost. The house is lovely and well equipped. Our only recommendation is that the beds could use a topper. They are FIRM.

A wonderful location with direct beach access. Made beach days very easy and fun. The pool was a huge bonus for after the beach! Well equipped and comfortable home. Melissa was a great host!!!! Will definitely be back!
