This was a great spot for my family of 7 including a toddler! Very family friendly, great backyard. We had some issues with the hot tub staying hot and had to keep troubleshooting but besides that it was great. Would definitely stay again!

Delightful Stay!

The house is gorgeous and conveniently located about 20 minutes from everything you could want to do in San Diego! The backyard for perfect and had games and lounge area for us all in between activities. We would totally stay here again!

Great backyard, great for kids

Enjoyed staying in this home. Beautiful backyard. I was pleasantly surprised by how many amenities they had for kids. It made our trip much easier.

Great Property

We picked this place to try and be close to my dad. Turns out it was only 8 minutes away! Everything was great and clean and spacious! Finding a spot for 3 kids and 4 adults was tough but this place made is 100% easier.

Excellent home, family friendly, great location!

Such a wonderful home, plenty of room for our family and my mother in law. Lots of great amenities for traveling with kids. Really clean, well equipped, and the backyard is awesome too! Cannot recommend it enough. Would absolutely stay here again. Host was super communicative and when we had an issue was very responsive! 10/10

PERFECT PLACE! We gathered here with family. It was our grandson's 1st Birthday. We couldn't ask for a better place, great location, and has all the things you need. The little details that really matter. Shampoo, Soap, Lotion, Utensils, even a Washer and Dryer. We had a small problem with a leak in the main bathroom, but it was taken care immediately. We could not ask for better service. We will definitely keep it in mind for are next San Diego trip!

This property worked out great for our family. We appreciated the child proofing, available crib, pack-n-play and toys. Back yard was perfect for enjoying some outside living with shade and lawn toys. We were able to walk to Dark Horse coffee house and grabbed dinner from Mastiff Restaurant one night. The house is near the highway but you don't hear it!! Our daughter and her family lived only 1/2 mile away, it worked out great. Thank you, we would book again in the future.

This was a lovely home that accommodated a family with littles.Everything needed for youngsters was provided in this home making it so much easier for our travels without having to bring as much from home.It has a very spacious layout with a really nice backyard and was well stocked with necessities like tp, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent and bathroom supplies like shampoo/conditioner/soap.If there is something I had to single out in regard to our stay that could have made it slightly better, it would have been that the master bathroom had a door. I did not realize upon viewing the pictures of this home that it does not have one. Sometimes you just want or need a little privacy and a way to close that area off when desired and also, if other family members need to use that 2nd bathroom, you can still stay in that bedroom while it’s being used. Even just adding a barn style type door, in my opinion, would be a really nice addition.Not only did we enjoy this wonderful home, I have to add that the communication with the host(s) of this property was absolutely outstanding. They were communicative throughout our entire stay, Welcoming us and making sure all was well and we were enjoying our stay. Making sure we didn’t have any questions or concerns. They were incredibly responsive and if reaching out was necessary, they responded extremely quickly. We were so impressed with this.I would absolutely recommend this property to others. Thank you Coast to Cactus!

Amazing property don’t think twice Book it

This was by far our best vacation rental. Property was clean, sleek, & easy to manage with two kids under two and two teenagers. We have 4 kids and me and husband felt so comfortable. It even had me considering downsizing our home with how easy it was to manage but that might be my vacation brain :) I am always weary of germs and I really felt at home with this rental. Area of town was safe and they have a great little coffee shop nearby called Dark Horse with great customer service. We visited it every morning:) Backyard was amazing for kids. I felt comfortable letting them play in backyard while we hung out in living room. The home has all essentials you will need just bring your food. Washer and dryer always appreciated. The property manager/owner communicated very well and had details texted to you at just the right time. Beds were more comfortable than our current mattresses at home… LOL.. we enjoyed it and if we were ever in San Diego we are definitely gonna book there again.

Beautiful Stay In La Mesa

My family of seven stayed in this listing for six days during our first visit to the area. The house is bright and well-appointed with a spacious living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large backyard. As someone who appreciates good interior design (and perhaps am a little biased as we had some of the same items) I loved the decor. We were able to do laundry in the garage, and relax outside using the fire pit and the barbecue in the evenings. There were many little touches left by the owners that were much appreciated: items in the cupboards and fridge; toiletries in the bathroom; laundry soap to do your washing; games; and even records to listen to. Our children are older, but there is also a high chair, booster seat, and toys and books for wee ones (we did enjoy reading the picture book about the amazing RBG as a family outside). My only small complaint is that the bathroom in the main bedroom does not have a door which is a little awkward for privacy reasons. I am guessing by the layout it was not originally a bathroom, but I wonder if perhaps a pocket door could be installed. I would also add perhaps some stackable dining room chairs for larger families, as the table only had four (though we ate outside most of the time). It was in a neighbourhood close to major freeways and shops, and located within 30 minutes to most attractions like the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, beaches etc... Contacting the hosts was very easy and quick replies were forthcoming. I would definitely recommend this rental to families looking for a comfortable home away from home.
