Needs Work

Toilet was broken and water was constantly running/draining throughout the night. I had to turn the water off in order to sleep. Some baseboards are broken or missing making the room feel shabby. Old/used soap and watered down shampoo in the shower. No lock to the door that connects to upstairs making it feel a bit unsafe.

The host provided easy convenient access and checkout. There room was quiet and comfortable. There was even Starbucks coffee!

Disappointing stay

Yard not maintained; paper litter in the grass. Key not under the mat at 4 pm as promised and owner didn't arrive with key until after 5 pm. Only 1 towel in bathroom for 2 people, and no hand towels or wash cloths.

This place worked for what was needed. There was little communication with owner however check in and out was easy. The room was acceptable for cleanliness however the washroom needed more attention to detail. It’s a quiet place overall but there were some disruptions throughout the stay( loud music till 2am from neighbouring suite and stomping from above). And parking is limited. These are minor inconveniences and shouldn’t distract from the fact it’s an affordable and functional option in Abbotsford . I’ll recommend to my colleagues and be back in the future.

Substandard and outdated room

To run a VRBO, aesthetics is a big deal. Your place lacked that in more ways than one. Workmanship on the room, below standard codes. Sheet rock damage, missing light bulbs, and the fixture cover for them missing. Sheets, thin and had burn hole in them. No soap in bathroom, thank god I brought some. I threw container away in garbage. Everytime u sat on toilet, the seat would shift to the right, it didnt fit right.It sounded like there were cattle crossing above us in main floor of house, even past 10:30 pm. One towel for two people, and no rubber mat in shower, very slippery. Dirty bathroom mirror. I clean for a living, this was definitely not a place I'd stay at again.

Though having met nobody during my short stay, I felt well taken care off. Clearly a family with kids, everything became quiet early enough. Beautiful neighbourhood.
