In Winter, find yourself nestled into a true Winter wonderland. The legendary Big Sky Resort is just a stones throw away from the home. Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America. The home grants you easy ski access to the main base at Big Sky. Easily catch the groomed residential ski route to make your way to the main base, this route is weather permitting and may not be the best for beginners or young children. Additionally, drive 2-miuntes to park at the free skier lot at either the main Big Sky base or the Madison base area.
For the Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just an 5-mile drive from the home. Find yourself exploring a what seems to be endless wonderland of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing. Other close by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park, guided ski tours in Yellowstone, dog-sledding tours, and more!
Ski In/Out Information- Access is weather permitting, the groomed residential trail is maintained by Big Sky Resort. Additionally, please note Big Sky Resort has 6000+ acres of skiable terrain. Using the ski in/out access trails from this home can take you 20-30 minutes to get to and from the main base area. We recommend this ski access for a more experienced skier. This groomed trail will lead you to the White Otter Lift. From White Otter you will partially ski down the Lower Morning Star run, then make your way to the Big Sky base area.

Once off the Cascade lift you will need to walk up a set of stairs to get back onto the groomed trail. You will make your way down trail (B) to get back to the house. This trail is best for skiers, snowboarders will need to keep up their speed.
