Manager's Meeting-15 guests

We recently hosted a Manager's meeting in OKC and had 15 people stay at the VRBO. It was the perfect location to house 15 people and so much better than a hotel. Each person had their own bedroom and bathroom with a common area and kitchen for each 3-plex. This allowed everyone to mingle and get to know each other under 1 roof. The property was clean, nicely furnished, and close to lots of OKC attractions. The property manager was friendly and easy to contact. I would highly recommend this property for a large group.

Not Big One House, But Separate Apartments

The stay was great, but I didn't realize it was a grouping of apartments. It worked out with my group of co-workers though. One co-worker stayed in a unit by themselves because of how units/beds were divided, but that was okay. I heard there was a lack of kitchen utensils and dishes, especially coffee cups. The host was nice, but very slow to respond. By the time I received responses, it was too late for whatever I requested. I may consider staying again. Good location and nice units.

Embarrassed and Disappointed

I'm not sure if our experience was common, but I must share mine. First, the owner was overall responsive when we had questions and accommodated me when we asked to tour the property. The lodge is new and they hire a professional cleaner. I rented the entire place (minus a unit that is used by the owner) out for 2 days. We spent for luxury on the "*VIP* Lodge" with expectations that things would be very sanitary and in working order. Initially we were very proud to show our friends and family their rooms and where the festivities would be held, but as time went on, things got bad really quickly. There was no WiFi, even after contacting the owner. None of the washers/dryers were working on one entire side of the building, and there was a clogged toilet, but luckily my brother is a plumber and fixed these things. There were broken fridges and freezers. The shower doors were not attached at the bottom in some of the rooms, so we had to be careful when using it. Most importantly and worst of all, I was completely embarrassed during my afterparty to learn one of the apartments was infested with bed bugs that the owner must have known about; the mattresses were zipped in a "bed bug blocking case" and there was bedbug spray under the sink. We should have never been given that room because there was another apartment available. We were honestly scared a guest would approach us for damages. Really nice people, but I am angry and embarrassed for my family and me.

Disappointed to say the least

This property is the opposite of a VIP experience. It was the most poorly appointed place I’ve ever rented- and I travel OFTEN. There wasn’t enough towels for all guests, the beds were comfortable, but had one thin blanket. There was no hand soap in any bathroom. There were no kitchen supplies besides a one dull knife, a random spattering of silverware, plates and a Nespresso coffee machine- which you can’t pick up at any store in the area. No kitchen towels or pot holders. We had a sink literally fall out of under the counter top, a door knob fall off in a guest’s hand, a broken kitchen sink sprayer, and no electricity in one bathroom. There is no decor on the walls or rugs, so everything echos and you can hear everything in the entire building. I was very busy hosting an event in town when renting this space and had to spend so much money bringing in items I expect in a nightly rental, which added much stress. I DO NOT recommend this location until they invest in their guest experience- besides parking an expensive car in the parking lot.
