“Playin’ Hooky” is a cute little tiny cabin conveniently located on the road going into the park at the North end of Pine Creek Lake. Less than one mile to Little River Park and the lake. Perfect for going fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking or just taking a stroll at the lake. Cozy and Ideal for fisherman, a couples getaway or a small family. The adorable kitchen has a retro fridge, microwave and full size electric cookstove.

Off the beaten Path

Wonderful little get away spot. Secluded feeling though within a minute to the Hwy. Just 30 minutes west of Broken Bow. Very clean with newer appliances and amenities. The perfect size for myself and husband. Quick response to Vrbo messages from owner.

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and had great outdoor space. Very cozy inside and comfortable bed. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back soon!

Loved everything about out stay! Nice, clean, loved the decor, I will have to mention clean 10x bc we were so impressed! 30 minute drive to to the main part of Hochatown / perfect location that is secluded but also not too secluded. Will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere.

Everything went very smoothly. Very large yard with fire pit. Nice deck. Air conditioning works well. Bed was comfortable. Nice refrigerator with freezer. About 30 minutes from Broken Bow. Overall good stay.

Great cabin!

We had a great two night stay! We spent most of our time at the State Park but enjoyed the time spent at the cabin. Everything was clean and looked brand new. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful weekend retreat!

Super cute cabin with everything you could need - the owners have thought of everything! This property is everything that it is advertised to be and more! It was clean, well maintained and decorated perfectly. The communication with the owners was always quick and helpful. The location is quiet and relaxing - we would absolutely recommend and plan to stay here again. We loved our time on the deck or around the fire pit. The nearest town is about 30 miles away so plan your supplies/gas accordingly. There is a small local store just up the road that is well stocked if you do forget anything. It was a great place to ring in the new year without the chaos of the city.

Perfect Couples Getaway

My husband and I just celebrated 20 years together in this cute little cabin. It’s tucked away and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. The owners were fantastic to work with and very kind! We will definitely be going back!

Clean, Modern & Affordable

Perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is clean. The furnishings are nice. It had everything we needed (maybe bring a night light for the bathroom). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board is because it is fairly close to the highway and you can hear vehicles driving by. Overall definitely love this place and host!

Perfect setup & CLEAN

This place was just what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean which is always a gamble when renting for the first time in my opinion. It was small but worked just right for myself and 2 kiddos. I was disappointed about the burn ban and not being able to utilize the fire pit (one reason we went with this cabin) but that’s understandable. The setup is the perfect spot to just unwind. Beds are comfy too which is always a plus for us. It was a little disappointing that the highway was literally just steps away BUT I didn’t look at a map before I booked to check that out either. And right down the road is the lake. Leaves are just starting to turn and this area was absolutely beautiful.
