Our family’s cabin in Colorado is more than just a place — it feels like a living, breathing part of us. If it were a person, it’d be the kind of friend who knows when to share a laugh and when to simply sit with you in quiet comfort. It’s the steady embrace we all turn to when life gets heavy, a grounding presence that smells like pine, and memories. The creaks in the floorboards, the view from the porch, the way sunlight filters through the trees — it all feels like a familiar conversation, like being truly seen and understood. That cabin holds our freedom, our peace, and the nostalgia of years gone by, all wrapped in weathered timber and crisp mountain air. It’s where our family feels most whole, where time slows, and where we feel at home in the deepest sense.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We chose this area in Colorado because it spoke to something deep within our family — a sense of belonging that’s hard to put into words. The land itself feels alive, like an old friend welcoming us back every time we return. There’s a quiet strength in the mountains, a kind of calm that settles over us the moment we arrive. The scent of pine, the stillness of the mornings — it all creates a rhythm we’ve come to cherish. This place isn’t just scenic; it’s soulful. The sounds of the forest, the endless sky, the peace in every sunset — they remind us of what truly matters. This corner of Colorado holds our history, our laughter, and our moments of stillness. It’s where our family feels most connected — to nature, to each other, and to ourselves.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

What makes our cabin truly unique is where it’s nestled — just outside of Cripple Creek, Colorado, in a part of the Divide that feels like it was made just for us. There’s something special about this area, where the wild beauty of the mountains meets the rich history of old mining towns, and where every trail, lake, and forest feels like a hidden gem waiting to be explored. Being close to Cripple Creek adds a charm of its own — with its quirky small-town vibe, gold rush roots, and scenic drives, it’s always an adventure.

We’re just a short drive from Colorado Springs, yet it feels a world away, tucked into nature with endless mountain trails, crystal-clear lakes, and that unmistakable crisp Colorado air. Whether we’re fishing, hiking, or just sitting on the porch soaking it all in, this part of Divide, Colorado, is truly one of a kind. It’s peaceful, wild, and full of life — and our cabin is right in the heart of it all.
