Paradise in Montana Log Home Grizmo Cabin

The mighty Yellowstone River runs through Montana's Paradise Valley where the gorgeous log home resides. Our home is nestled between Aspens and Cottonwoods on 20 very private acres at the base of 11,000 foot Emigrant Peak. Take a hike down to Six Mile Creek and look for deer, elk, and moose.

We are just 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park and 5 miles from Chico Hot Springs Resort, where you can soak in the natural hot springs pool. While your there have dinner at the Chico Restaurant; one of Montana's finest restaurants. World class fly fishing is available on the Yellowstone River and its numerous feeder creeks including Six Mile. Daily Lake (5miles) offers boating, windsurfing and recreational fishing.

60 minutes away is the city of Bozeman with Bridger Bowl for downhill skiing. Also Montana State University, The Museum of the Rockies, and excellent shopping in this uniquely Montana city.

30 minutes away is Livingston a quaint Montana town with many art galleries, authentic western saloons, and great restaurants. Enjoy a special vacation in a truly remarkable place.

Note: There is a security video camera installed outside. The camera is aimed at the parking area, front door and bbq grill area.

We had 3 generations of family staying at the Grizmo cabin. It was the perfect space for all of us to be together.

The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! It was definitely well stocked and had everything we needed. We didn't want to leave and we would go back.

We had the BEST stay! The house was very clean, and it felt like home. We were especially impressed with how well the house was stocked with essentials. The host was very responsive from the day we booked until the day we checked out. Highly recommend this location for family vacations.

Cabin was amazing in every way. Beautiful property with scenic 360 views. Clean and well stocked, with plenty of utensils and everything you need. So much to enjoy, we could have spent our whole vacation there. Host is very quick to respond and property was exactly as listed, and in many respects better.

We had a great family trip staying at Grizmo Cabin! It's spacious enough for us to be able to spread out but had great spots to come together to play games and chat. The property has some creeks that run through, adding to the charm. We spent a lot of time on both the upper and lower decks watching wildlife and relaxing. The power did go out two of the nights, lasting a while each time. Not the property owners fault, it was something to do with the county lines. Just sometime to note. The owner communicated quickly and let us know where we could find a big emergency light and what to do once the power came back on. Overall, it was a great trip! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is beautiful. We loved exploring the property, sitting by the fire pit, and relaxing on the patio with the stunning view. The host is wonderful and reponds quickly. We definitely recommend this property!

what a fantastic place with fantastic views! It was perfect for our family of 10. Plenty of space for togetherness and plenty of space for alone time. So close to so many activities Chico, Hot Springs, the Yellowstone, river, and Yellowstone National Park we also shared a horse experience at Eric‘s Ranch. We would love to come back sometime.

Great place to stay for a great yellowstone experience

Beautiful log cabin with great views of the mountains. Although it was 30 + minutes to Yellowstone the drive was amazing and we saw so much wildlife even before we got to the park. There were deer every morning on our property.

This was the most wonderful stay in the most beautiful house! Everything is made for you to feel like you are in your own home. The view is spectacular. Everything we needed was right there. The grounds are gorgeous and there is so much space! We definitely plan on coming back!!!! Fabulous hosts!!!

Gorgeous Montana Getaway

This home was beyond what we had imagined. Every bit as beautiful and charming as we had hoped. Confortable rooms, gorgeous setting and views. It was centrally located to everywhere we traveled. Would definitely stay there again. Just wish our stay wasnt so short.

Beautiful property overlooking the mountains

We enjoyed staying at the property with our kids and inlaws. The property had a great deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a lot of games for the kids to play with and they had fun exploring the stream. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay with family!

Amazing views

Very quiet cabin, with a lot of wildlife around. Mountains as far as the eye can see. The cabin is beautiful, the basement has anything you want to play! Would definitely stay again! Thanks for sharing it with us

Beautiful outdoor property. Rooms were a little small for us. Basement had a smell so we did not use it. Kids liked the teepee and stream.
