Peaceful cottage tucked away in beautiful Mattapoisett. Located only 1 mile from Ned’s Point Lighthouse, the town beach and pier, this quiet getaway truly has something to offer for everyone. Multiple restaurants such as Turk’s Seafood, the Mattapoisett Inn and Rustico are located right near the property and you are only 9 miles from historic seaport New Bedford. Cape Cod is also a quick drive away making this property a spectacular location to get that “on the Cape” feel without dealing that “on the Cape” traffic. *please note there is 1 video doorbell at the front door and one security camera on the barroom overlooking the back yard. The outdoor shower is seasonal and is shut off in September to prevent freezing pipes.

Mattapoisett Cottage

We loved the Mattapoisett Cottage! We stayed four nights and loved it, especially the outdoor space, since we were lucky enough for a New England Indian Summer weekend. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bathrooms clean with plenty of towels. If you’re looking to stay in the Mattapoisett/Marion area or are attending a wedding at Shining Tides, look no further.

Birthday Trip

Lovely cottage for a week stay to visit family and friends in the area. Perfect quiet location tucked back off the main road. We loved hosting happy hour in the backyard man cave! Chris was quick to respond to any issues that came up.

Peaceful

Very peaceful spot with privacy and a nice backyard. Everything i needed was in walking distance and the home was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back!

Great location and quiet

The cottage was perfectly located near Boston and Cape Cod, so we could go to the beach and a museum in the city. It’s located in a nice secluded area behind some beautiful flowers and trees. After a long day, the cottage felt very comfortable.

Perfect cottage for small family

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was the perfect space for our family (2 kids under 11yo). We loved being able to walk to Oxford Creamery and get lobster rolls and ice cream. The Cottage was well maintained and very clean. Chris was also a very responsive host. 5/5 would recommend!

The cottage is precious and charming.

We were both delighted with the cottage and the accommodations. The yard and grounds are beautiful. we never got the code for the bar room but we didn't need to use it. I loved the wildlife, birds, chipmunks, bunnies and squirrels. We didn't really know how to operate the TV and would have liked to watch the local news.

Great spot for a weekend trip!

We loved staying here while in town for a friend’s wedding! It was great having 2 separate bathrooms and the kitchen and living space were very comfortable.

We tried to find a home base to see Cape Cod, Boston, and Newport. Worked out great. The house is lovely and the bar was a very fun last night Par-tay! lol

Perfect Weekend Get Away

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Chris was quick to respond with my questions and was very accommodating. The cottage was super clean and updated. We cooked the majority of our meals at the cottage for the kitchen had everything you need to do so. We were able to walk daily to Oxford Creamery for lobster rolls which were delicious. We lucked out and had wonderful weather and were able to enjoy lounging on the back deck. The TV's were awesome too for when you want to relax indoors and catch up on Netflix. Linens were cozy and we appreciated soap, detergents, etc., being supplied. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful home.

Our visit was short but sweet. Our daughter & grandson could not join us unfortunately, but our stay was still good. The weather was warm for 3 nights, then changed to drizzly & cool on Saturday. Enjoyed eating at Turks & takeout at Oxford Dairy. Fieldstone Market is Wonderful! Thanks, Chris

Awesome Cottage

We had a GREAT stay at the cottage. Chris was the perfect host, checked in with us to see if we needed anything, and instantly replied to a question I had. The cottage was super clean, everything anyone would need is provided linen’s, towels, washing soap, etc. Tons of closet space, nice bathrooms, plenty of flat screen TV’s, outdoor grill and a bar to watch your favorite New England sports team. Perfect location lots of stuff close by and walking distance to a local creamery. We will definitely be staying there again for our next visit. Perfect cottage and Perfect host!

Very Good Stay

We enjoyed the house and the detached bar room. The house is in a great location to visit Boston, Plymouth and Cape Cod. The house was very clean and the owner was easy to get a hold of for questions. The house is perfect for a party of four.

Lovely Private Cottage

We loved this place! It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed is so comfortable. The bar was perfect to watch the Pats game. Can't wait to go back in December!

Sweet cottage in Mattapoisett

Such a sweet and comfortable cottage for a wonderful weekend with girlfriends. Nice bathrooms and kitchen, sweet and relaxing yard and deck. Perfect for 4 people. A couple of the women I was with were real foodies and said the kitchen could use a few more utensils. A few more wine glasses (!) so we didn't keep running out and having to wash them ! LOL

Adorable private cottage

We loved this house! It was tucked back and is very private with a private yard. It is clean and updated. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds comfortable. If we are ever out here in MA we would love to stay again!

Contemporary open concept cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans. In the living room there is a home theatre with 70 inch smart TV and 5.1 surround sound system, ready for streaming. Surround sound system is Bluetooth compatible. Washer and dryer in the bathroom as pictured.

Outside enjoy the backyard with grill area, patio, hot/cold outdoor shower, fire pit and detached bar room.

On the property enjoy relaxing in the detached bar room fitted with couch, smart TV and sound bar. The space can be heated as well for colder nights.
