Peaceful stay on Granbury Lake

Wonderful place on the lake. We especially loved having a fenced in yard for the dogs to play while we grilled burgers and ate s’more around the fire pit. Sunsets on the dock were so peaceful.

Sister getaway

It was so peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. My dog enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard. Beds were very comfy. And the view!!! Will definitely be back.

Perfect Holiday Cottage

My brother and I rented this cottage while in town to visit family over Christmas. The cottage was adorable, well stocked, clean and had a wonderful outdoor atmosphere. My father is in a wheelchair and the enitire property was accessible to him when he came overto visit.came over

Quiet Paradise

Beautiful cozy property!!!

We loved our stay at his cozy lake house, it was beautiful, up to date with a cozy decor, the bed was comfy as well as the couch, the shower got nice and hott with great water pressure. And the dock in the mornings with coffee was amazing. The only negative was the wife didn’t really work too well. Other than that we have zero complaints at all!

Cute cozy cottage

Very, very nice property. The house is well decorated, very clean, and really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The dock is superb and we were able to easily dock our boat in the slip. Even though the fish weren't biting all that well, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a few days of vacation.

Great lake get away!!!

The lake house was amazing and relaxing. The huge dock had ample room to fish, park our boat, and hang out during the evenings. The best part of the dock was the wood swing, which my wife and I enjoyed sitting in while the boys fished. The house was the perfect size for a family of four. We enjoyed the large plush sectional couch while watching movies in the evening. The host communicated quickly before during and after the stay. We will definitely return in the near future for another quick lake getaway.

Mother/Daughters Weekend

My sister and I take a trip with our 82 yr old Mom every summer. Her health and mobility issues have made accessible vacation homes in locations close to home a requirement. We are from Fort Worth so the drive was less than 45 minutes and the house was absolutely PERFECT. It is a charming looking home on a quiet street. The inside is impeccably decorated, incredbly warm, welcoming and comfortable. It was spotless and everything was in excellent condition both inside and out. It is exceptionally well appointed. Everything you need to have a wonderful stay including coffee pods, creamers and a little basket of snacks as well as children's toys and lots of games are available. The open concept style of the home is warm and inviting and we could have easily entertained more than just the 3 of us. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our favorite part was being able to sit on the back patio and enjoy the lovely view of the lake- eapecially the sunsets. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and maintained with a lovely large old shade tree as a centerpiece. There are multiple sitting areas outside including the porch swing on the large dock which is in excellent condition. With my mom's physical limitations, we are not able to be very active so this beautiful home gave us the perfect place to visit and "escape" on a girls' weekend. We have never visited the same vacation rental twice, but we are already planning to come back to this AMAZING home again next year!

Good family get away

We enjoyed our time at the Dock House. Among the best things were: • The property manager responded quickly to our questions. • Our favorite thing was the lighted, covered dock. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing, including at night. We caught a few fish, including catfish (including lots of baby catfish), white bass, perch and gar. We used worms and minnows for bait. Although we would have liked to have caught more fish, we still had a decent catch. • The washer and dryer and the laundry soap are an excellent feature on the property. It was nice to be able to come home with all clean clothing (rather than clothing that smelled like fish) from the trip. • The kitchen has several useful items, including a good number of spices. However, we were glad that we brought our own foil. • The house was clean. The beds were really comfortable. • The gas grill was nice. We used it to cook most of our meals. We would consider staying at this property again.

Great house, great view, great yard, great dock!

This house was just what we needed for a girls trip. We cooked comfortably in the kitchen, enjoyed great views and loved floating off the dock. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pups.

Great Cottage on the Lake

The house was just as advertised. It was very clean had everything we could’ve needed (and more) and it’s just steps from the lake. Great dock with a swing to have morning coffee or watch the sunset. The property is totally fenced in so perfect too for the dog. We will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend it!

Perfect lake house with views!

We planned a quick weekend getaway and this was the perfect home! We were able to bring our boat and use the dock and slip which made it so awesome! Comfy beds, plenty of room to hang out, and the sunset off the dock was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be booking Dock Holiday again!!

Awesome Rental

This was our second time visiting, and it was just as great as the first. There was a slight issue with the WiFi, that Liz and the owners resolved asap. (Thanks again guys for the prompt help there!) Great location, well stocked, and just a great house overall. We will be back again!

College roommate reunion

Three of us stayed in the cottage on the lake and had the best time relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet! We enjoyed sitting on the dock for coffee in the morning and happy hour in the evening. The house is perfectly stocked with everything needed for a home away from home!!

Dock Holiday is my Huckleberry!!!

Amazing! Property manager was overly helpful and wonderful. House was perfect. Yard is amazing. The catfish were bitting. The neighborhood is great and the neighbors are friendly. Close to HEB for groceries. Short drive to downtown. Honestly there is nothing negative i can say.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was easily the best rental we’ve ever experienced. When you walk in, you feel at home. Ample appliances, comfortable beds, and a dream backyard with the perfect view. Neighborhood is quiet and experience was amazing.

Quiet, Comfortable, Cozy

This was our second time staying at Dock Holiday and it was just as great as the last time. The beds are so comfortable and the house is clean and cozy. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. The house had everything we needed and even had extras to accomodate children, including toys, books, and plastic dishes. Our host was amazing and always replied back to us quickly. This is the perfect spot to stay in Granbury! I cannot reccommend it enough!

Just what we needed!

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the lake house. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We enjoyed our Happy Hour out on the dock each evening, watching the boats, jet skis and ducks. My little dog had the best time too. The property is completely fenced and she loved the freedom to explore! It couldn’t have been nicer. Our stay was A++!

Perfect Lakehouse for R and R

My husband and I stayed four days at this lake house for a getaway from the city. The property was beautiful with perfect sunset viewing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, watching the hummingbirds on the shrubs and the geese on the lake. The house was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful Getaway

Very cute rustic feel home on the water. It was clean, and very functional. Beautiful view of Lake Granbury. Lots of thoughtful amenities to make your stay comfortable. Very close to Historic Granbury. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Howdy y'all! I am a born and raised Texas girl who grew up stomping around Fort Worth and moved to the outskirts of Granbury in our home on the Brazos in 2020.
I married my high school sweetheart and together we have 2 girls. I love the outdoors. From kayaking the Brazos, to enjoying music festivals, to savoring BBQ on the porch with loved ones. I also enjoy antiquing and finding those unique finds, so anytime I can go to a trade day, I'll go. When I am with my family, we love our pizza/movie nights where we order a big 'ol NY style pizza and cuddle to some good hearted classics.

This home boasts beautiful views inside and out! It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the NE end of Granbury Square. The living area is spacious and open and has an oversized couch and 3 large picture windows that overlook the expansion of Lake Granbury. The owner has put extraordinary thought into this gorgeous home-from cozy linens on the bed, beach towels for guests, to a Fully Stocked Kitchen! The fenced yard is also large and well groomed. It has a stone sidewalk that winds down to the private boat dock, which is available for guest's use to keep your own boat or fish from.

The sunsets are breathtaking! There is a swing down at the dock where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. If you're feeling adventurous, you can jump right on in Lake Granbury from the dock as well.
For boat enthusiasts, there is a boat launch to use that is in the neighborhood and the property is located at the deep part of the lake, so no Canals!!
The lawn is also easy to get around in for those w mobility concerns and the yard is fully fenced for those traveling with their pups.
